After a long, four hour fight, the necromancer was defeated and the group walked away with spoils and a new sense of accomplishment!

When he sent them on their way, they met up with another ice pony who agreed to show them a part of the palace that the lord had no eyes over, and the five hours struck there.

Second thing, it's going to be based during the Great War, before the Last Day, and you have to be a Commando unless otherwise granted. Anywho...

The Great War has been raging on for 10 years now, with no end in sight. Though while it was understood technology would be the key to victory, neither side had properly developed the capabilities to gain the upper-hoof in either field. So, Commander of the Military Dark Light, a pony second only to that of the ministry mares and Princess Luna (even then, they often let her have the reins) converted her force of Elite Guards into a fearsome offensive force called the Commandos to begin mass-guerrilla operations behind Zebra lines to begin turning the tides of war by literally forcing the Zebras at the frontlines to surrender through lack of supplies. She managed to get this new force green-lighted and even given propriety in new tech over the Steel Rangers, meaning they would be given the very best equipment Equestria could offer, in return for forcing the Zebra line to fall back before well supplied Equestrian troops. You are one of these Commandos, fighting behind Zebra lines, doing a dangerous job no other force wants to do. You are Equestria's elite and it's lifeblood, but your name along with the Commandos shall be lost to the lips of ponies at home. Can you do this selfless act for your country?

Everyone will start out with the same equipment, same everything plus one personal weapon.
