This is the tale of six such ponies.
The following is my best attempt at a signup/character sheet based on Roleplaying is Magic. I tried to explain everything I could without quoting from the manual verbatim. If there are any questions, you may check the manual yourself here or ask me.
Name: (What are you called?)
Foal [Cutie Mark Crusaders]: No Bonus
Filly/Colt [Mane 6]: +1 to a Primary Attribute of your choice
Mare/Stallion [Mayor Mare, Mr/Mrs Cake]: 2 Points to spend on Primary Attributes
(I’ll let you choose any age for this RP)
Earth Pony: +1 Heart
Pegasus: +1 Body
Unicorn: +1 Mind
Alicorn: +1 All
(I’ll allow Alicorns as long as they are Foals or Fillies/Colts. The point is, they are not fully mature, like Celestia or Luna.)
Guiding Element: (Which Element of Harmony do you best represent? Only choose one of the main six elements, please.)
Cutie Mark/Talent: (Blank flanks are allowed, but not recommended.)
Job: (What do you do for a living? Foals don’t have jobs.)
Additional Personal Info: (This is optional, but nice.)
Attributes: (All Primary Attributes start at 1)
Mind: (Inherent intellectual ability: smartness, guile, memory, etc.)
Body: (Physical capabilities: strength, speed, agility, toughness, etc.)
Heart: (Emotional capabilities: empathy, charisma, willpower, etc.)
All Ponies get +1 Point to spend on the Primary Attribute of their choice. No stat can be over 5.
Talents: (You get two talents during character creation. They give a +2 bonus to certain rolls)
There are ten talents: Strong, Tough, Fast, Agile, Perceptive, Smart, Charismatic, Empathetic, Willful, and Tireless.
Skills: (Skills can be pretty much anything relating to your job. They shouldn’t be too broad. For instance, instead of Science, use Chemistry or Geology. A skill can also be a particular spell, of you’re a Unicorn. The number of Skills you start with is your Age Category * Your Mind stat. 1 for Foals, 2 for Fillies/Colts, and 3 for Mares/Stallions)
Spells: (Unicorns get spells. The can choose any combination of the following Effects and Subjects. 1 combination for Mind 3 and 2 for Mind 5)
Animate – levitation, teleportation, animation
Change – polymorphing, shapechanging
Create – creation from nothing
Diminish – destruction, deterioration, make something worse
Know – location, identification, divination
Air – includes weather effects like lightning
Animal – lower animals, like pets and forest creatures
Body – ponies
Earth – any non-living solid
Fire – fire, light, heat
Force – effects of solid energy, like Nightmare Moon’s mane
Illusion – false magical images, sounds, and other senses
Magic – pure magic, spells effecting spells
Mind – intelligence, perception, thoughts, and control
Plants – plants and fungi. Also products like cotton, wood, flour, etc.
Water – water and ice
Create Magic is like a multi-tool. It can enhance, amplify, and/or improve other magic. Can also be used to create fey fire.

Cutie Mark/Talent: A quill standing in a bottle of ink / Dexterous manipulation of quills.
Skills: (Mind 3 * Colt 2 = 6 Total Skills)
Note that one of my skills is "Levitate". This is because I chose a specific aspect of my spell, "Animate Earth" as my skill (the specific aspect of my spell being the ability to levitate objects). I get a bonus to my Mind roll whenever I try to use Animate Earth to levitate something. Quill, being a unicorn, can learn other spells, but the only spell he "knows" is Animate Earth.
