Gaze walked over to the decapitated pony and closed his eyes he opened his eyes and looked at the encased Karl he walked over to him and leaned on the ice "You know for what you did you maybe killed or sent to the moon," Gaze said, "You probbly cant hear me inside that but I think the punishment you should get is to have eternal suffering,".
Karl thought to himself, "He has!? Well, sucks for him then. But i gotta probably gotta go see him... oh well." He broke out of the ice, throwing Gaze down from the house and started galloping for the prison. He could get Pain out, no problem, the only fact was if he wanted to get out, or if he had his own plan. Either chance, Pain was gonna need his old friend no matter what. He was gonna meet up with the mark family anyhow, as Winter was after on the list.

Dark Shine sat on his house, and looked out to Canterlot. He could move it closer, but the shame he felt... It made him stop.
He would often write a diary of the day, and how unproductive it was.
Dear log,
today, nothing else has happened. The pain of the failure is still within me... I dont think it will ever leave... Thousands of lives were lost... I should have... And could have... Protected them.... Tommorrow I will go out, and visit New Canterlot. Since I failed, it is the least I can do to pay heed to the ones who suffered because of my failure.

Gaze was blasted when Karl broke out of the ice "Dang he is strong," Gaze said, "No matter I haven't been doing nothing since these ten years,". Gaze got his Star Bubbles and jumped onto he went full speed almost catching up to Karl. "Hey! I cant let you kill anymore ponies you know that right?!" Gaze shouted he removed one of the bubbles and launched them forward blasting into the ground near Karl.
"We can't let the nut job free Pain! Wait, He should've been affected by the poison by now!" Arrows shot an arrow which opened up and revealed weighted net that trapped Karl under it.

Karl got stopped immediately, but was struggling to get out of it. "Hey Arrows, get me out of the net, will ya!?" He shouted over to Arrows with a mad grin. "I have a appointment with Pain, and i'd hate to burn down the net to get out!" He looked around himself, the net was everywhere. Kinda reminded him the time when he was trapped in a net a few years ago, he got his 37th kill after that.

"I'd rather not. Knowing you, you're just going to free him the first chance you get." Arrows yelled, flying off to the pirson in New Canterlot

Karl looked at him flying off, then shouted, "Flames, now!" His mane, tail and hooves were engulfed in flames, automatically burning the net. He then dashed off for the prison, becoming the flame ball as before. He had to meet Pain, didn't matter if anypony was gonna stand in his way. He then saw Snow and the others, saying quietly to himself, "Why not?" He dashed past them, bolting for the prison. "The guards have to be able to see me. If not, then they probably are blind." He said while grinning deviously.

Now seems as good a time as any to pay deed to those who died...
He thought to himself, sighing.
He put on a saddlebag, the Dual Pegasi Amulet, put the log in his saddlebag and flew off to Canterlot.
