About 10 minutes pass, and Starlight had decided everypony else had had their patrols of the manor. He stood up, stretched a bit, and whispered something to himself.
"Let's find out where they've been..."
His horn sparked a brighter yellow. The floor began to glow many different colors in paths that went every which way only Starlight could. The pair of paths he chose, one white with black stripes and the other light brown, went down one corridor. 'Hibiscus and Cyanside...' Starlight thought. 'Let's go find out if they've found anything worthwhile...' He walked through the doorway and down the hall, leaving behind a yellow trail of his own to guide himself back to the foyer, and the other paths, if the two ahead of him did not find anything yet.
A lesson learned the hard way is still a lesson learned...

(Couple new rules, in order to keep with the spirit of fairness, you may not instantly walk in on the killer once they commit their dubious deed. Any unfair bias towards the killer, such as after the first kill, you guys suddenly decide that the true killer is untrustworthy, that is unfair, you would have to feel the same to most/all. All in the spirit of fairness! And remember, your OC will still have no idea who it is so yea.)

"aaaaaah" Cyanside ran screaming back the way she came, numerous shallow cuts on her face and body. She stopped when she reached Starlight, rushedly telling him "Run for your life." Before she continued to gallop towards the door.
She pounded on the door desperately with her hooves, but to no avail. She promptly broke down and began crying.

Starlight stared at the filly rush by. "What the heck..." The lights turned off above him. "What's going on?" He looked around for a light source desperately, but found nothing...until he remembered he was a unicorn and facehoofed. A quick burst of energy filled his section of the hallway with yellow light. He couldn't see anything ahead of him. "Hibiscus? You back there, buddy?..." He backed towards Cyan and the door. "Come on out, man. You're scaring me..."

Arrows was walking through the hall, and heard Cyanside banging on the other side of a door. "I suppose she might know something that'll get me closer to this treasure." Arrows pulled out a lockpick and tries opens the door. The pick breaks.

Gaze was still in the third floor to hear a loud amount of screaming "What! They found the treasure already!" Gaze yelled he ran out the door and got to the stairs and ran down to the first floor to hear banging and crying. Gaze looked at the pony trying to unlock the door and scoffed he pushed him aside and got out one of his Star Bubbles and shot one of them into the door shattering it into pieces find that energetic little pony with multiple deep cuts and he jumped back "What the heck I know it is treasure but I didn't know somepony would do this!" Gaze said in horror.

The pony in the control room stared at the monitor that allowed the pony to watch the group in the control room, "Hm, time for something new." Then the pony hit a few switches, and suddenly the lights when out. The pony brought the mic closer and spoke into it, the mic changing the voice of the pony, "Don't panic! Don't panic!" the pony said convincingly scared, "I'm sure whomever did this will be found, and hey the power might have just been a power failure from like a storm or something?" the pony pushed the mic away and muttered, "Bloody idiots."(Man, it sure is hard to not try to type him/her, I just feel like keeping it secret), "Time to spice things up some more." the pony fiddled with a few buttons and sat back to enjoy the results.
A pony entered through the front door, closing it behind him, (If anyone was in the room, they would had seen a thunderstorm outside.) He stowed his umbrella and looked around, "Hello?" he called.

Star helped the crying and bleeding pony up and, with his horn still lit, walked her to the couch as if he never saw the guest. He sat her down and increased the magic output to get a good look at her wounds. "Where did you get these cuts, Cyan? What happened to you, and where's Hibiscus?"
It was obvious that somepony had attacked her. The question is...who?

"Oh Celestia..." The new pony said, seeing what happened to Cyan, "What is going on here?!" that's when he was slammed in the face by a medkit fired out from the wall, "Ow!" he yelled in shock, before picking it up, "I think this might help? And I think I have a bloody nose now, I'll be lucky if it isn't broken." he said.
