Peachy mulled over Viola's response and smiled. "Well, I mean... maybe you can just find another species to feed from. Not that I claim to know that much about your kind." She smiles sheepishly. "Speaking of feeding, I'm off for some lunch. All that power transferring made me hungry!!!" She holds out a hoof. "It was an experience meeting you."
As Rifter enters the mess hall, he almost bumps into Hatchet...
Hey, you remember this guy...
Of all the griffons you knew from home, this guy is probably the last one you would've wanted to find on the ship with you. From what you remember, he's insane in the worst way; the kind that doesn't show until it's too late.
He used to live in the same section as you, but he's been detained by griffon guards a number of times, so you didn't see him too often after school. You'd probably figure him being here was either a fluke, or his background was altered just so he could get off Equestria. One would want to tread softly, or else set off one of his mental land mines...
Almost running into Rifter, he stops short. The white feathers on the top of his head go up and he looks Rifter over quickly before flashing a smile. "Rifter! Oh geez, y'know, when the pegasus said your name I didn't believe it'd be the same you. How've you been?" Then he blinks and looks back at the red pegasus and nods. "Right, nevermind, we got work to do. Briefing Room 1, dude. Seems we're going down with the scouts to keep 'em safe while they check out the new world." Without giving a breath of pause he leans in close to where his beak almost touches Rifter's. "Won't that be fun?"
The red pegasus just smiles and heads off around the corner and down the hall towards the briefing room.
In the briefing room...
The team captain looks at Digi as he enters and inquires in a prominent voice. "Is there somepony you're looking for in here?"
