If and when the /blogs/ section of the site kicks off, we'll be needing some blog specific moderators. It'd help if they had an active (and loosely site based) blog of their own, familiarity with it's systems and an interest in reading through other pony's blogs. Duties would include: - Dealing with blog reports/inappropriate content. - Moving entries around, making sure they're correctly categorized. - Promoting the section. - Helping new bloggers with any issues or questions they may have.
I was planning on creating a blog, so I would be more than willing to apply for this position. I've already gotten a jump on reading through the blogs that are up right now, so reading through new entries will be no problem for me. I'm a very organized individual, so I'd be sure to keep all the blog entries categorized and moved to their appropriate section. Being familiar with the rules of the different sections of Everypony Network, I can successfully ensure that blog reports and inappropriate content be dealt with. I will find various ways to help promote the section, but avoid shoving it down everypony's throat. I enjoy answering questions and helping others out if they need it, and plan to fiddle around with various features in the blog section. This will give me a working knowledge of the section, enabling me to provide answers to inquiries from newer users or those unfamiliar with the section. Oh whoa, how did I miss this?! Thank you for selecting me to be your first ever (aka guinea pig) Blog Moderator! So, if anypony has any questions, ideas, concerns, etc. for the Blogs section, feel free to approach me. Now, prepare for blog categorization and reminders to tag your posts! Oh, and for those of you who haven't started a blog yet, I recommend doing so! It's like having an online journal, where you can write down your ideas, opinions, et al. Just remember to keep your blogs within the site rules.

Over the weekend will work just fine for me, as that's when I'm usually crazy busy. Just give me a time for when you would like to go through those things before you do anything though. I should be free in about 3 hours for a bit, or I'll have a large chunk of time in about 6 hours. Not sure what plans are for Friday yet, so that could work too. It's good to be on board ^_^
