Community Moderators are given the task of monitoring all forums, including the Network Chat. When applying please include your location and/or timezone and times you are active. Community Moderators are expected to do the following: Keeping a peaceful environment Preventing and removing offensive materials as well as spam Locking unnecessary or useless threads Keeping threads on topic Ensuring rules are being followed All applications are considered valid until deleted by the original poster. I figured that I should post my application here as well to show that I'm still interested. Anyway, I'd like to apply for the role of community moderator. I've been on these forums for quite a while and I lurk here a lot of the time, even if I don't post much. I always try to follow the rules and I consider myself to be calm. My timezone is UTC/GMT and I am usually lurking on here from 4pm-11pm. Thanks for taking your time to read this.
I'd like to be Community Patrol (or forum mod seeing the large amount of people applying for CP). I have experience in dealing with many problems in real life, public and private and am a very understanding person. I am also founder and co-founder of two different groups on deviantArt, and I have settled numerous arguments amongst the vast reaches of the interwebs. I'm on this website most of this time , and have been since the time I joined in January. I probably spend more active time on this website that I do anywhere else on the internet and I would like to contribute to this wonderful community any way I can.

I've been looking for staffing spots on good, strong, active forums. I figured I'd try my luck here. I can usually be on from 6am-7am and 4pm-10pm everyday. Sometimes until 11pm. On weekends, I can be on basically all day. I am in Canada (Ontario) so whatever that timezone is then that's my timezone. I work hard and do any chores or tasks that I can assist or complete. Well loving ponies and having knowledge about vBulletin I feel that I can help with not only members but with the staff tips they may want. I can create tutorials for new members and show them the ropes of EP. Time Zone: GMT-5 EST Active: 10 to 2 am as I can use my mobile when not at my physical computer I am extremely dedicated and will do everything to make sure that I succeed at whatever my task it. Hello! My name is Eluuna, and I'd like to apply for the role of Community Moderator. Strengths.. 1. I genuinely like to help ponies. My experience with big jobs are limited. However, I feel that this is something that is necessarily in a mod, so I try to at least have that. Myriads of times, I have come across perhaps a new thread by a fairly new pony in the wrong area, and wanted to move it. Or, another example, a pony posts something along the lines of... "Where do I do ~~~~~," or "How can I do ~~~~." I respond as soon as possible. 2. I love this site, and want to do all I can. Since I joined this site about 6-7 months ago, I have been on every day, with a few exceptions, and with each growing day, I love this site more. Not only for the ponies, but the people. I believe this would give motivation to help this site more and more, to the best of my ability. I also believe I could prevent spam, what with my constant thread prowling.. 3. I know the site fairly well. As said above, I have been here for 6-7 months. I know most ponies, and the places. This allows me to get around easily and to be able to help others. I remember that when I first came, I knew nothing, and I had a few ponies help. It was refreshing, and I want to do the same for others. The... Not So Strengths.. 1. I can't sit still! I jump from thread to thread so fast that I can't think of a clever simile. This may result in carelessness when editing something. 2. I don't come out from roleplay a lot. As said above, I frequent the RP section the most. Every once in a while though, I come up. 3. I am not always level headed. My name is A Smoove Criminal and I would like to apply to be a community moderator. Strengths: -I have been on this site for over a year now and have grown to love this community. -I would like to help improve the site by making it a kinder and more fun environment. -I get excited when people post an introduction so that I can welcome them to the site and let them feel like we here will enjoy their company. Weaknesses -I don't often tread outside of the main forum, I go to the chat every once and awhile but not too often. If my job was to do that I defiantly would have a chat tab open whenever I am online. -I am a little shy when it comes to talking about serious topics. You really think I'm that irrational? Yeah, Lost annoys me, but he's allowed to say what he wants, just as I'm allowed to try... multiple times, in multiple ways... to explain that posting BS just annoys and alienates people.
