My Name is Gennai I am technically a Digimon, although I doubt you'd be able to tell by looking at me. Do you know what Digimon are? It surprises me as long as we've been interacting with human so few actually know we exist. That's probably a good thing. It's best the world at large not know we've put them in jeopardy. Allow me to tell you a story of one such time. It started in the town of Gate. This appropriately named town lies in the central part of New Jersey and is the location of a hole between my world and yours. For a long time Digimon passed through, some to cause trouble some to stop the trouble makers, and so to find love. It started on day when after school when the students were busy with there clubs. I'll start with with the chess club it's members include two Digimon. ~~~ Robert watched the two pawnchessmon play each other. He was getting tired of loosing to the both of them, so he set them against each other. It was a good thing they weren't playing speed chess cause they were both taking forever between turns. White was definitely on the attack but Black had a solid defense. Each analysed the every move of the other. [Okay go ahead and introduce your character. They don't have to be in a club, but they need to be doing something on the school property.]
Morana got into detention for apparently vandalizing school property,if that's what you call drawing on the white board. Luckily the supervisor was pretty bad at his job and he fell asleep just 'Bout everytime. So when the opportunity strikes she starts drawing masterpieces or listening to music or looking for inspiration...or all three.
The human world was vastly different than the Digital World. They had a lot of interesting things and Veemon couldn't help but check them all out. In his excitement, he may or may not have caused some humans to get angry with him because he was either bothering them or was impeding on traffic. He also heard stories of something human children went to called "school." Of course he just had to check that out too. It was next on his "to-do" list. He arrived in front of what he assumed was a "school" with all of the human children going in and out of it, and gleefully strolled right into the school through the front door. ((My Veemon is a nut. ))
She decided to ditch the class room and exited the class and saw Veemon in the halls which scared her...a lot. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!"
Robert heard the scream in the hallway and went to see the source. The Pawnchessmon followed him out. "Are you a transfer student? How do you not know what a Digimon is?" "Well it's not like Veemon are common." Black nodded sagely. "They are quite a terrifying site" White also nodded sagely. "You two think any non-machine Digimon is a terrifying site." Robert Sighed. It amazed him how as wide spread Digimon were in Gate that they weren't well know beyond Gate. What would people think if they knew his mother was a Kuzuhamon. "I guess we do get more machine Digimon in the school, what with the Principal being an Andromon." ~~~~ Peeking out of another door, a certain Digimon heard the boy's comment. The Principal was a Perfect level Digimon. Maybe this school was a bad place to choose to invade from but...the barrier between world was weakest here. Maybe he could get around the principal.
"Wait the principal is a digimon?!" She looks at the principal who was peeking out the door. "That explains why I got detention for mundane things."
With the appearance of more humans and Digimon, Veemon didn't have to explain anything. However... the comment from the PawnChessmon annoyed him a little. "Hey!! What's that suppose to mean?! At least I'm not just armor that came to life!!" spat-out Veemon at the PawnChessmon.
"I got detention for writing on the white board,speedwalking,chewing my pen,coming to class 5 seconds late,and etc."
"Living Amor! How dare you insult us! We are Nobel Chess pieces!" Black shouted at the Veemon! "You of all Digimon to insult us. Your kind started off as nothing but a glitched Agumon!" White Lowered his lance. "Black! White! You two insulted him first. You both know there's no fighting inside of the school." The girl had just said something but he didn't hear it over the Digimon.
"Well the bells about to ring so I better bail before the guy watching over detention wakes up...I also drew a *squee!* on his face...don't tell anyone." She picked up her bag and dashed away.
"..." From what she just said she deserved Detention and it had nothing to do with a Digimon Principal. Or course the Teacher shouldn't have been sleeping either. "Veemon are you new to Gate?"
The girl walked away and now the other human with the rude PawnChessmon were talking to him. "Huh? Gate? What's that? Never heard of it. I just came here through a portal in Digital World. Unless that's this "Gate" your talking about?" queried Veemon. Of course, Veemon didn't want to admit that he wasn't really paying attention to what he was actually going through when he came to the human world. So he tried to make it seem like he knew what he was talking about when he obviously didn't.
"Right then. You're not here to cause trouble right?" White frowned. The stupid Veemon had no idea who he was dealing with. Black mimicked white's expression. They didn't stand a chance against a humon. The first time he and white tried to invade the human world they were Perfect level digimon. However even a pair of perfects were no match for a humon partnered with a perfect. They would bide there time. Robert didn't seem aware that they were the Rookchessmon and Bishopchessmon that attacked the town before. Even their former boss didn't know who they were.
"I've heard a lot about the human world. I just wanted to check it out and see what it's all about. That's not causing any trouble, right? I'd rather stop trouble than start it..." answered Veemon
"Okay your first mission is to keep an eye on these two. The last time they were here they tried to destroy the school. Me and the Principal beat them, but as you can see they came back. He knew! White thought they fooled him! He knew! Black thought they fooled him! ~~~~ From his vantage point the hidden digimon shook his head. Well it seemed to two hadn't betrayed him, they just didn't stick with the plan. Still they could be useful again. He drew a rune on the floor and energy released from it and went forth to the too pawnchessmon. ~~~~ What was this power flowing threw him! White felt ready to take on the world. "Pawnchessmon Warp Digivolve to KingChessmon!" Black saw what his brother just did and suddenly he felt more powerful too. "Pawnchessmon Warp Digivolve to QueenChessmon!" "Now you will pay!" "Why did I end up a Queen!" "Who Cares! Let's just kill them. We're ultimate now, they don't stand a chance!" "...." This was not good. Even with the Principal's help wouldn't stand a chance against these two.
Morana heard a rumbling sound from the school and went to check it out and saw two huge digimon. "WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT ARE THOSE? DIGIMON?! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!?"
"I don't know, but unless you're a Digimon in disguise or a Hybrid like me...follow the other students and run." Robert was greatful for Andromon quick response, but he had no idea what they could do about the Ultimate level Digimon. Technically Hybrid like himself were Baby level digimon, grant he was about as powerful as a perfect, there was still a huge gap and it's not like he could do more than punch or kick. Well Kingchessmon was the smaller target, he'd let Andromon handle the queen. With a running leap he kicked the king in the head only for it to disappear. King stick...allowed the King to multiply...he must have did it when the girl distracted him...where'd the real one go?
Kingchessmon appeared from behind her and tried to hit her hut she dodged and hit him in the face...at least she thinks it was the face. She never really plays chess. "I'm a black belt smartass."
First he was being given orders, which really didn't suit Veemon very well, then the two rude PawnChessmon ending up warp digivolving into Ultimates. This situation just went from bad to worse. Veemon slightly broke into a cold sweat. A Rookie like him didn't stand a chance against Ultimates. However, it wasn't like he could run either. "It's a good thing I brought this, just in case!!" shouted Veemon. He then, somehow, took out or summoned a blue longsword. (See image in spoiler below. Same weapon that he uses in Digimon World 4) Spoiler "You can't take them by yourselves!! I... I don't know how much help I can be, but I'm not going to just run!!" shouted Veemon. He waited for one of the Ultimates to actually attack him before he tried to do anything. ((Because I'm guessing Lio is the one controlling the Ultimates and I'm not going to do anything with them unless given permission to do so))
