They are there to ensure that chat participants are following rules and to keep the environment an enjoyable one Radio Chat Mods are expected of the following: Removing offensive materials and spam Remove unruly users or users that repeatedly break rules Provide adequate warnings Chat moderators are selected by Site Admins and Radio DJs. Radio DJ A radio DJ's job is very important, and requires a lot of trust and time in making sure it's done effectively. There are MANY tasks a DJ must learn and consistently uphold so this isn't something you can just do a couple hours a week, this requires a great deal a commitment. With this in mind, a DJs duties include but are not restricted to: Radio DJ's are expected to do the following: Radio chat moderation Taking DJ shifts (minimum of 3 hours per week) Uploading songs to the library Checking YouTube for new song releases (you must seek any new artist's permission first) Creating playlists and sorting songs Please note that full training will be given to all new DJs. Music making experience is NOT required for the job. Radio DJs are selected by Site Admins and Senior DJs. All applications are considered valid until deleted by the original poster. Hello, I am Nerdus Pegasus, or on the Everypony's Radio chat room, ExtremeMagneticPower (Emp for short). While not as active on the forums, I am a very active user of the radio's chat room. I have noticed a lack of moderators being present at all times. The only moderators I see on are Swift_ and BlazingDawn, and of course, they cannot be on all the time. I would like to apply for moderator to help this. I am usually on after school, which is Monday through Friday, between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm (CST, or UTC -6). On Saturday, I can be on anytime throughout the day, which is usually between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm (CST). Sunday is a bit later, between 1:00 am and 9:00 pm (CST). I would like to apply for Radio Chat Moderator. I notice there are only a few mods and they aren't on all of the time. While they leave there are people that will spam and use profanity and I want to help stop that. I have been coming to this radio for a while now and I believe I can be here 7 days a week to assist in stopping and warning people who break the rules. I come on around 4 PM and stay on until midnight on Monday through Fridays. On Saturdays and Sundays I can come on any time I may be available. I would like to apply to become a radio chat moderator. As a longtime member of EPR, I've encountered numerous occasions in which mods have been offline, so some members, or even some outside trolls, have considered it fine to run their mouth, spam the chat, start and RP, etc. Having spoken to several chat mods to get a second opinion (namely Swift and Blazing) I thought it may be a good idea to apply for a position on the EPR staff. If given some training as to what constitutes as a bannable offense and what simply constitutes a warning, I imagine I could get the hang of it rather quickly. I am usually online from 4PM GST - 10PM GST on week days, though on weekends it can be anywhere between 1PM GST - 1AM GST. Sometimes my time online may be somewhat sporadic, though I promise to give warning beforehand. This would usually only be on occasions in which I need to go elsewhere. This usually would only happen around once or twice per week. I have a good relationship with most, if not all the radio staff and I have fairly good relations with most of the chat users. I believe that adding me to the team will help cover most unnecessary gaps in which staff are not present. Thank you for reading this and I hope you will take my application into consideration.

i request being a radio DJ, for i am on this website at least 10 hours a week. i believe i will do good, i will follow rules, i will accept requests, and ask permission from new artists before play their music,or adding it to the playlists. i am also on youtube a lot, therefore i can be one of the first to see the new songs.
