RP Moderators are given the task of monitoring the Roleplay sections. When applying please include your location and/or timezone and times you are active. RP Moderators have the same guidelines as Community Moderators, but are fined tuned to suit the Roleplay sections. They are expected to do the following: Ensure roleplays remain on topic Ensuring GM's keep their respective RP's organized and in line Keeping OOC and IC posts are kept in their appropriate areas Provide tips and advice to RPers All applications are considered valid until deleted by the original poster. You are free to update and edit your application when needed, but please do not repost it.
I would like to apply for RP moderator, I have always stayed around the RP/Theater and I understand the rules, guidelines, and where everything belongs. If curious, my timezone is -6 GMT. I want to help the section out as I feel like I should give back to it. (I have deleted my previous app and moved it here with some revision)
Just thought Id put this out there incase any extra hooves are needed down there Ever since I joined Back in may the roleplay section has been my main source of posts. I'm on here almost everyday, if not everyday from 7:45 am to 8:15am and 4pm-10pm gmt. So I can check the rp section often. My rp background stretches back to year 5 and so I have been rping for 5 years. I help out when I can helping new members know to post in the character sheet before posting and to remember to use an OC instead of a canon character unless they were permitted. I am very helpful and caring but I am also a bit of a leader when needed, a recent example of this is when I took over the camp demigod rp from snow as I could see that there was still some interest in it. I've been trying to stimulate more interest in the section by creating new rp's yet to no prevail and I think I would be able to improve the amount of posting there if i was a rp mod
I would love to apply for the RP mod for the following reasons. Ever since I joined this site, I have stayed close to the RP section. Every time I enter this site, I go immediately to the RP section, and even though I am not a RP mod, I still help out ponies that are new, or need help. Examples: When asked how to Reply with a Quote.. When a new player wanted to join a roleplay. A new sign up to a dead RP.. Some more reasons, yes, they were also used for a community mod. 1. I genuinely like to help ponies. My experience with big jobs are limited. However, I feel that this is something that is necessarily in a mod, so I try to at least have that. Myriads of times, I have come across perhaps a new thread by a fairly new pony in the wrong area, and wanted to move it. Or, another example, a pony posts something along the lines of... "Where do I do ~~~~~," or "How can I do ~~~~." I respond as soon as possible. 2. I love this site, and want to do all I can. Since I joined this site about 6-7 months ago, I have been on every day, with a few exceptions, and with each growing day, I love this site more. Not only for the ponies, but the people. I believe this would give motivation to help this site more and more, to the best of my ability. I also believe I could prevent spam, what with my constant thread prowling.. 3. I know the site fairly well. As said above, I have been here for 6-7 months. I know most ponies, and the places. This allows me to get around easily and to be able to help others. I remember that when I first came, I knew nothing, and I had a few ponies help. It was refreshing, and I want to do the same for others. Thank you for your consideration!
I would love to be a Roleplay mod, I'm from the -7:30 time zone, in Washington, I'm usually on from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, except on weekends, Sundays are usually all day, & saterdays I'm usually offline, I have OCD, so I don't like it when things are "off", or in the wrong area, & I love to hang around the RP area.
Roleplay Moderator Application. Hello. My name is Pinkly Smooth. I would like to apply for a position as a Roleplay Forum Moderator. My real ambition for doing this is to rid the site of clop or clop-esque content, which I have seen a rather disgusting amount of lately. Although I have only about a month of actual experience, I have discussed protocols on this site with moderators in detail. I am available every day, on weekends from 1:00PM-1:00 AM ET, weekdays from about 5:00-9:00 PM ET. I am fairly flexible and able to moderate many roleplays in a short amount of time due to my tendency to view many tabs to pass time between replies on my own roleplays. I am skilled at staying loyal to rules and protocols as well as enforcing them. I understand that posting in the wrong place is less severe than scarring the minds of other site-surfers. I will mainly be looking for infractions in the dialect of posts, but I will make sure to check the placement and relevence of posts in threads as well. My heart bleeds for this section, and reading the severe content in other threads has called me to action before I would have previously liked. I feel that to keep my time and the time of others on Everypony enjoyable, I have to step up and make it that way, to feel as though I am a contributor. The current staff most likely does not need me, but if accepted, I will strive to prove I can handle the duty of being a moderator. My name is Crimson Lionheart and I wish to apply to become a RP moderator. I would love to apply for the RP mod for the following reasons. Ever since I joined this site, I have spent an enormous amount of time in the RP section. Whenever I enter this site, I go immediately to the RP section. Even through I’m not a RP mod, I like to help new users with advice or help on what they need. I have three reasons why I wish to apply for this position. 1. I love to RP I remember my first time RP’ing, and it was one of the best things I have ever done on the internet. My experience in RP’ing and literary techniques has improved dramatically since my first time, which has had a excellent impact on my English stories at my school outside EP. I love to write and join in on an adventure that RP’s have. I never had to #YOLO, because I have had lived many lives in RP’s. I wish to create more interest in the section if possible if I were to be applied. I believe that I would do a great job helping new RP’ers and giving them a love for the section that EP has given to me. 2. I love this site. I have joined this site Wayyyyy.... back in 2011. I remain active on the site, with some exceptions such as taking a family holiday or exam revision. However, the love for this size knows no bounds for me. The longer I stay away from EP, the worse my relationship gets and i get more anxious to return to it. I believe that this has given me the courage to ask for an apply to help this site more. I believe that I can help lead and keep RP’s going in the right direction as well. 3. I know the site pretty well. I have been here for almost two years and I know many of the users, and the places/threads. I remember joining and I felt like I was in pre-school and I had some help from users. I found and jumped onto the RP bandwagon back then and I have never looked back since. I want others to have a similar experience in RP’ing. I wish to thank you for your consideration.
