Hey there everypony, I like building computers, and am always interested in what combinations of hardware people are running to get the most out of their games. If you have a computer you're proud of (or not) post some specs, maybe even an image! :) Or if you're looking at getting a new computer soon, you can get some ideas on what good parts are, or advice from other bronies who have had experience with them.

Case: Antec 900 v2 (blue lights)
    Motherboard: Evga SR-2 Classified
CPUs: Intel i7 950(x2) no OC
Graphics card: Pny GTX 460 Enthusiast Edition UPDATE: Evga GTX 560ti Classified x2 (Sli)
    Ram: 12gb Corsair XMS3 ddr3 ram UPDATE: 48gb Corsair Vengance ddr3 ram
PSU: OCZ ModXtreme 700w power supply UPDATE: Antec 1200w PSU
Hard Drives: Two 2tb western digitals +1tb external UPDATE: Two 250gb SSD drives in R0
    Fans: Coolermaster V8 CPU fan

    New fan!

Edit: Don't worry, I know it's dirty, the front fans on Antec 900's are dust magnets. ;) I just moved and haven't had time nor desire yet. (although, these pictures sure do make it look way dirtier than it is :p)

Technically it died on me 3 times within the past 10 years, had to do system recovery. Then again I think Best Buy had something to do with this, and I didn't really own this computer until 2007. So I had to pretty much wipe the whole computer, or just clean up anything wrong with it, uninstall useless junk, scan computer for viruses/malware/etc... yeah... it's fine, I can still play me trusty CS 1.6, (Not CS:S)

I just need new RAM...I have 504MB out of 512MB... :derpe:

I sometimes just wipe my computer out of laziness/unwillingness to uninstall/delete things :L

It could be more of a video card problem than a ram problem, I don't think CS:S requires too much ram.

    Edit: Nevermind :p

Lol I don't own CS:S, and CS1.6 is my main game, just bad computer that can run it, but not as smoothly and computer randomly crashes due to some hardware failure or something... I just need a new rig altogether.

Fair enough, if you end up getting an influx in cash this holiday season, parts are sure to be cheap. :p

Oh, I'll build a PC someday, I know that for certain.
For now, though, I'm sticking with my trusty iMac.

I just have a stock 2008 Macbook Pro, but it runs every game I've wanted to play on it.

CPU: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
    RAM: 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Hard Drive: 250GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA

Hopefully that RAM spec will be at 8 GB after Christmas.

I bought a Gaming computer thats quite powerful some months ago, and I love it. It isn't overly powerful though- the plan was to get a computer that could pull some weight, then to keep bettering its hardware until it became ultimately beasty.
    This is what I currently have;

    Processor; 3.2GHz Intel Core i5
    RAM; 4GB
    HDD; 500GB
    Graphics; nVidia Geforce GT440
Sound; 7.1 Channel Digital Audio Output

I'm happy with it for now, but will, of coarse, keep making it awesomer and awesomer.

Not bad man, did you build it yourself or buy a pre-built setup?
