Ok, so something happened today in responce to my earlier thread about telling a friend blah blah blah. First of all, I apologise for: 1. Me being mildly miserable in the video. I had already recorded it once, but after playing it back, it looked awful. 2. Me still going on about my life situations that you may not want to hear, but this is a pretty funny story. 3. The length. It's a long video, it may bore you, and I'm sorry if it does. 4. The quality, awful, yes. Well, here it is... behold... me in all my me-ness. *rolls eyes* phone... Post more videos. My Pinkie Pie doll came with stickers... AAAAGGGHHH! Now I have to get the MLP magazine.
Hehe, yay I get two mentions! "Look at my merch!" :derpe: Thanks for the happy birthday, better late/semi-on-time than never. That video wasn't boring, it was actually entertaining.
I'm not sure whether this version is available in the USA... I'll be surprised if it isn't. The publisher was based in Surrey but it is Hasbro's product, so I'm sure it will be in your local store, no doubt. No problem! And thanks, it just seems boring while recording due to pauses and such. Glad you enjoyed it. My (possible) other videos won't be so dull as this one was filmed in a tiny spare room in my Dad's house. My room at my Mum's is a lot brighter.
I have 2 questions. Did you figure out how Charlie found out? And does your mom not know about you being a brony? Oh and according to this http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Winona the UK magazines mistakenly call Winona "Jackaroo", so its not a future character (according to a fan wiki that probably isn't very accurate haha). And I liked the video, it kept me entertained (and stopped me from working on my papers ). Well I suppose anything would stop me from working on my papers (kidding) :Trollestia:
honestly, I loled xD you were entertaining. cool story bro :derpe: Funny thing, I got also one issue of Croatian version of mlp magazine (just that I bought it myself). nice video
Well, afterwards things started popping up and I thought everything was revealed. Turns out, Charlie only assumes that I am one, but doesn't fully know. The magazine, I'm guessing, was an attempt to make me mad. (lolfail) The friend that I told rang me and said he didn't tell him and I told him about the mag and he was couldn't believe it! No, my mum doesn't know. None of my family does, my dad knows I'm on a forum but when he asked what it was about, I tried to cover it. Sorry for distracting you. :derpe: Cheers, mate. ^_^ Oh awesome! And thanks. :derpe: So the mag is pretty world-wide then. Cool beans... Thanks again for the feed back!
You seem like a very interesting person, Merri. We've GOT to speak to each other sometime over XBL. Over the weekend, perhaps?
Oh my God. I haven't even finished watching the video, I paused it at 6:10 just to ask you this. Where the hell do they sell those magazines? Also I stopped writing just to watch the rest of the video, and I now know they're £3.50, but still clueless as to where they can be found. I'll try Tesco, then ASDA, then various newsagents. Also also, you look, sound and act exactly like one of my best friends in primary school. Also also also you're entertaining and lickable likeable, so the video wasn't boring at all. Hurry up and grow up so I can buy you that pint you so deserve.
Lol, I would buy that magazine just for the Fluttershy poster. Great video, you should do some more, I cannot get enough of pony Vlogs .
If you had only told one friend, how could another know? Oh well. Nothing stays secret forever. And I think you should consider letting parents know, at least one. It was really awkward for me to be around my parents, because they had no idea that I was a brony. I had wanted to keep it a secret, at least until I was ready to tell them, until my mom discovered my pony ridden desktop lol. I felt afraid of what she would think of me and it made it harder to explain, but she understood it in the end, she actually wants to see an episode to see what the craze is all about. So I successfully got my parents to understand why MLP is awesome. Of course it depends on the parents.
Quotes, quotes, quotes! I wanna respond to ALL the ponies! Yes. I have messaged you about that actually. My local post office had it. o_o £3.25 per issue. Also, I've been served alcohol before because apparently I look over 18. But yeah, I wanna hoof ya' bro. So. So. Much. "I'm liking this idea.". I think starting a pony vlog would be right up my street. Either that or a podcast for the forum. It's why I'm so confused... But I'm rolling with it. As for my parents? My dad already thinks I'm strange, I can tell. I know I shouldn't care, but I think it would be best to keep it under wraps until it grows enough to prove that it isn't just me. I know what my parents are like, quick to judge, and my dad isn't a massive approver of homosexuality, which is a massive stereotype when it comes to watching colourful ponies. It's stupid, but meh.
I understand. Sometimes its so hard to get people past stupid stereotypes... They base their opinions on the information (or lack of) that they know. Since they are unaware of the new MLP, they only know the old MLP.
I think I'm going to leave it for now. I have to be careful with the magazine.. I have nowhere to put it. Can't have that being found... xD
