Some of them are, a lot of them are extremely tacky. Most of them are designed for performing, so they're impractical as all hell.
Drag stuff is mostly just weird. I really don't get the point of most of it. Is it made to call out the fact your in drag rather than let you embrace the other side?
I dunno. Drag is mostly cisgender gay men, and most of them treat is as a performance. I don't get it either.
What does cisgender mean again... I thought it was a fancy way of saying strait, but you didn't use it that way.
No, my understanding is that it is you identify as the gender you were born as. You were born male and identify as male. So in V's example, they are males who identify as males and are attracted to other males.
Better yet. Why do people assume people with body mods will be automatically ugly in their elder years? What gives you the right to judge people for their life decisions, let alone assume increased deteriorating beauty due to ink and/or metal based mods? If body mods are not your cup of tea or attractive for you, so be it. But DO NOT impose you ideals of beauty on others. We all are beautiful in our own ways, ya know.
...Seriously, people. Really did not need to see that picture. Or the one after, come to think of it. I think my sense of good taste just ran off screaming. But to clarify what I meant in my last post, I have to ask why people feel the need to stick what are basically glorified rocks in their tongues. They have absolutely zero benefits, they don't make any discernible statement beyond "Hey, look me! I have a glorified rock stuck in my tongue! Don't I look *audible wink* gorgeous?", and if they forget it's there when they start eating, that's a possible risk they could've avoided altogether. Admittedly I'm not the biggest fan of body art or tattoos either, but that's a whole other topic. ... Aaaaand I just succeeded in making myself angry. I'm taking off for a while before anyone sees the need to blast me for what I feel is a justified belief, thus starting an argument that's likely to get myself blocked. Ciao. Ever-loving. Mein.
I say let people do what they want, it's their decision on what they want to do with their body. Whether it be tattoos or piercings. Unless if it's something harmful or dangerous. There is a possible way to avoid the risks after getting a tongue piercing. Like, consuming soft foods and such. Then carefully rinsing out any pieces leftover in your mouth of said food. (Correct me if I'm wrong though.)
It would be wise to go cool off. However, I am going to reiterate my point. And as justified to your opinion as you maybe. The moment you sling mud at people for their life choices. You lose that justification and your opinion is moot. I will respect if it's not something you would want to get and/or wouldn't ever find attractive. However, you are presenting this in execution as spitting on and damning anyone who has nothing against body mods and/or has them on their body. Which I do STRONGLY not appreciate. People who have them or would desire to have them get them because it's something they like. Or in the case of tattoos especially, there is a personal or sentimental value. Like them having a tattoo of a dead loved one or symbolic imagery of something in their life. There is more to it typically than "adding a cool thing to my body". And I don't really think people are trying to be attention getters about body mods either. I wouldn't doubt some people in their teens may of did it for attention. But normally that isn't the case. To me, it's more a statement of their individually on some level. Buuuuuttt, yeah. I really have said all that needs to be said here. I think so. I really am not knowledgeable exactly on the procedures needed, but that does sound about right. Also your speech will be affected to a degree just after a tounge piercing. They are not for everyone.
