I drink orange juice more for the Vitamin D, honestly. Every little bit helps when it comes to dealing with a deficiency.
Welp. That's pretty on brand for Sans. Dude loves his ketchup. Aside from the Kidney Stone thing, which I actually didn't know. Maybe there are some that like lemon juice more? Though I do not disagree about orange juice more or less tastes better. Though I don't really find lemon juice offensive really. Just kinda bitter.
I like lemonade, don't get me wrong. I have that too. The citrates in the citrus fruits help stop the stones from forming and can help break up existing ones. Also, I learned that Darkest Dungeon 2 is an Epic Store exclusive. But it's also early access. So I won't be tempted to buy it until it comes out and has all the bug worked out and the DLC released. Note: My biggest reason to hate Epic is they bought EZ Anti cheat and immediately took away development funding and stopped all Linux support for it. Effectively ended Rust on Linux as well as any other multiplayer games on Linux that used EZ anti cheat. So screw them.
Which goes to show that as a comic, you should always have a good supply of papyrus. >^_^< Epic... was that the same company who created Jazz Jackrabbit, or am I thinking of something else entirely?
Same company. But they haven't done anything original since fortnite and are now using that fortnite money to monopolize new games and force users to use their crappy storefront if you want to get it on release. It helps me be a patient gamer. It also almost made me go Yar har fiddle dee dee.
Can't say I've had much interest in Fortnite. What little I've heard about it tells me that it's not my thing.
I've been playing Hero Wars lately. I've not really anything like the ads though. Still fun in it's own way.
And isn't that the point of gaming though? Having fun~ Yeah. Not to mention Epic's system is not so friendly with Steam's system. At least from what I heard. Some whole debacle involving malware that *squee!*s with your steam account or something. As someone who has played it, you really are not missing too much. It's just a more event heavy, cartoony version of PUBG. With some obvious differences.
Patient Uber Breaks Game? Anyway, there's nothing like 30-60 MPH winds to cause power outages at your office, and make business, fanfiction, and gaming all impossible. Power went out at about 2:30 while I was playing a bit of "Castlevania: Circle of the Moon" and stayed that way at least through 3:30pm, at which point I decided that nothing was going to be getting done and left for home. (And since my boss is on vacation this week, I'm going to have to wait for him to restart the server before I can get any computer-based work done. Because fun times. ) Seriously, there's grit flying all over the place outside.
Oof.... That sucks. Your city needs better infrastructure... If 30-60 MPH winds knocked out power here in Florida, we'd be without power like every afternoon with a thunderstorm in the summer. And hopefully this will get your boss to make a better plan for emergency access to restart the server...
That sucks. Then again. Power outages, in any capacity, suck. I do hope things get figured out sooner than later. I, for some reason, thought of a uber driver playing games and somehow crashing them. But for the sake of shutting up my ADHD. It stands for Player Unknown's Battleground. Though I'm sure most everyone has played, or at least heard of that game by now.
Good news on that front: I won't need to worry about him restarting it. I was able to get onto the network just fine this morning, so I'm guessing he has a battery backup. I won't complain. >^_^< Officially it's a city, but personally I'd call it more of a town. This is probably because of having lived in Dearborn Heights before moving out here, but when I picture a city, I imagine someplace where it can take upwards of 5-15 minutes on average just to reach your destination by car. A place with less than 7,000 people and less than eight square miles to its name...? I dunno. (Link leads to DH's page on Wikipedia.) I used the blinking clocks in my office to do a bit of math this morning, and apparently the power was out until after business hours. Strangely, my house wasn't one of those that blacked out. I'd never heard of it until now, but that's just me being out of the loop on a lot of things. My choices in gaming are a bit narrow compared to most. ... Eh, might as well supply a visual aid. Have a sample of my Steam library.
