Ironic that you speak as if I have won before. Though, to my knowledge, I have never won once. So... yeah. Not trying to win, but circumstances with recent site inactivity put me here.
Eh, I would've piped up with something on my lunch break today, and even then there would've been a few hours yet before the deadline. Wasn't too worried.
Since BBC shows it so much I've been watching Star Trek TNG and DS9 a lot (in the background). TNG deserved more seasons, there are some really really good episodes and they could have done even more with it. DS9 isn't as good as I remember, the best episodes have Garek or Quark. And well, I guess that's how they wanted to send the message that war drags on, but the Dominion war just drags on and on and on over multiple seasons and it gets tiresome. And too much weird space god wormhole stuff near the end. I hope Picard continues being good, although I fear seeing more people return. They've been like, hey remember this guy? And now he's dead. Remember her? Yep, we just killed her too. Stop it!
My Mom's gotten fairly obsessed with Star Trek (at least with everything prior to Enterprise) in the last five years. She particularly likes Voyager's theme song. I'm fairly certain I've heard her trying to play it on the piano once or twice.
Enterprise was not that bad. It wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it more than Voyager. It did take away from it that they made that final episode.
TNG wasn't really meant for young kids, I can see how you saw them as boring. There were only 2 good things about Voyager. The Doctor and 7 of 9. Jeri Ryan has also been doing a really good job in Picard so far.
Of course, the key word in that statement is "young". Two of my siblings had hit adolescence by then, and judging by the memories I have of the theme music playing each time the program returned from a commercial break, I'm pretty sure they enjoyed it.
Quite, young is a very broad term. I was young when it first aired and I watched every episode. How young were you talking @Rockout E. Stringer ?
I've always been more of a Star Wars person than a Trekkie, though I don't recall exactly what it was that drew me to the original trilogy. Got a shelf of books from the Legends continuity next to my desk. Haven't sat down to read most of them since before the pandemic, so I gotta get to that at some point. (Used to have more, but eventually I decided that the content just wasn't for me and left some of them in a recycling bin at the local courthouse. I remember leaving one in there once, and someone had taken it while leaving the rest of the stuff in there alone by the end of the day, so I can only imagine that they wanted it more than I did.)
Nope, you got it in by just under 3 hours to go. Also, Attack on Titan started up on Cartoon Network again. Gabi is the worst person ever. Seriously, I hate her entire nation and that side of the world just because it spawned her.
