    It popped up in the 60s or 70s. I heard no mention of G4 ponies, though. I was on the PC as I was hearing this, and as soon as I heard it, I turned around to my mother and said "You just put this on to tease me, didn't you?"

    I'm talking about my first meetup. Technically it was a comic shop celebration, but MLP theme'd and a couple bronies were there.

    Not as fun, nor would I drink beer. Even though I'm not old enough. I did watch some beer pong action though.
