1. Tell us how you found the site, the story can be long or short. One day, on a lonely Russian midnight, I saw a link to a playing of the second Remix War's songs. It was on EPR. So, I went with a fellow Touhou troll and tried to cause chaos. There was too much of it that day, but I stuck around the next night, to see if I could amend this failure. Thus, Fluttertree was born. Soon after, I stuck. Then came the first RPs, back before we had a dedicated RP chat. In fact, it was because of this RP that they made the RP chat (Sort of). Then, about a week later, after I had to leave the RP, I went on the forums by accident instead of the RP chat to see what's going on. Then began the madness. 2. Tell us why you joined the site. My friend who thought, keyword being thought, he was trolling me about being a Brony kept on saying everypony over and over, this was back in Jun-ish so after he stopped spamming it at me I decided to check the site out, then BAM! I'm here. Curiosity? "These people take ponies to heart " Well, the first person I really talked to was Muesli, then I suppose some people from the LS chat. Although now it's pretty much anyone who I talk to + the Vent & Skype people. :3
It was a link from Equestria Daily. I found the site on 15 July this year, and at first just kind of looked it over. Joined a week later. Why? Darned if I know. I've usually had bad experiences with forums. I think I posted my intro just to see people's reaction that some 46 year old (now 47) guy that likes ponies. Got an amazingly favorable response, and decided this place just might be different than other forums. As described above, I was kind of leery, not really sure how people would react to some old guy posting on a young person's forum. I was prepared to be completely ignored, or have at most one or two responses. I got three pages worth. I'm still amazed. First three? Well, the first was DRD, of course. Well, I'll just say for a while I was completely unaware of any sites that support the thriving fandom. However, upon being on Everypony Radio a few times back in early July , I finally decided to join the site itself. I mainly joined the site to meet quite a lot of other bronies out there in our vast world, and check out what all the site has to offer. There are hardly any of them in my current residential area. Making friends is something everyone should do, and by joining this wonderful site; I made just as many friends in a few short days then I ever did in real-life so far. At first, I was quite nervous, to be honest. I wasn't sure how everypony would react to when I joined and posted my introduction. I soon threw that feeling out the window, though, when I discovered all the warm welcomings I got the very next day. Let's see, if I remember correctly, it was: Rashall, DRD, and testyal1. However, I must say that my true friends on here are: ePONYmous, Insane Lugia, and Saikyo. My introduction, of course.

I was just beginning to dive into the fandom of ponies, after just watching all of the episodes for Season 1, when I began to look more into the pony fandom, to learn more about it, as reading from the various youtube comments, that it sounded like a very welcoming, and all around amazing community. I began my searches through Google, and I found Equestria Daily. As I was reading the fan-fictions and pony art, I happened to notice an event that caught my eye, scheduled July 15, Brony Day! And one of the sites was hosting all the episodes for the day, all day, so I thought, "Sure, why not!" And went to the site on the day, wondering what would happen. Much to my surprise, it even had a chat, and at the top, it read. "Everypony Radio". Now, when I joined, it was already started in, maybe a couple episodes, but non the less, I stayed there for much of the day, watching the chaotic chat of ponies talk away, as I sort of stayed away from chat, knowing that it was... Well, hectic, and enjoyed the shows, and the music in between breaks. I very much enjoyed the music, astounded not only by the songs, but from the quality, and that it was very much enjoyable to listen to, so, the next couple of days, I decided to go back to the site, and lurk a tiny bit, reading and learning from the chat. It was a bit later that I discovered the forums, and forged my OC, posting my first intro post. 5 months later, I'm still here, and I love it still. 2. Tell us why you joined the site. I joined the site because I wanted to find a place where I could conversate with other ponies about...Ponies, and make some friends, with a nice community. And to also have a bit of fun while doing it. 3. Tell us how you felt when you first arrived. (nervous, scared, excited, etc.) When I first arrived, I must admit, I was scared out of my mind, I was still very nervous and shy around that time, and when I saw the chat just flying by, it was quite insane. 4. Tell us who your first three friends were on here. I'm not exactly sure who were my first friends...There were so many ponies back then, and it was sort of hard to tell...

Simple. A google search. I was looking for a Pony-related forum, and this was the only other big one I could find other than Canterlot, which I don't care for much. Well, I was looking for a Pony message board in which I could actually be a valued community member (hence why I left Canterlot, it was just too big). I was already a well-known member on Ponychan's /chat/, but I wanted another, slower paced community for whenever Ponychan became too much for me (which it does often). As always, I was extremely excited to meet new friends. That being said, I was also insanely nervous. I always worry that no one will like me, despite me being a likeable person. Bwuh... I'd have to say ePONYmous, Dwynter, and DRD. 'Twas short and to the point, as always.

I was obsessed at the time. 2. Tell us why you joined the site. It was relatively small compared to some others and I like it like that. It makes us seem closer as an online family and we treat each other as such. Well, we used to. Things have gotten a little flakey around here and there's much more diversity in Brony personalities now. 3. Tell us how you felt when you first arrived. (nervous, scared, excited, etc.) I was excited because I found others who shared my love for the show. I felt like a freak because I had never heard of such a thing. I was hoping the other Bronies felt the extreme warm-heartedness of the show that I felt and that we can just talk about it all the time. 4. Tell us who your first three friends were on here. I can't say that I have any actual friends here, but if I were to pick it would be Zephyr Wind, ePONYmous, and Double Rainbow "Dash" 5. (Optional) Post your very first avatar. She reminds me of myself back in high school. I was always quiet and did nice things too, but I had my moments. The only thing that scared me was the stare she gave the cockatrice." Equestria Daily didn't have a forum and I wanted to meet the community personally because the last of my real life friends left and I have no idea where to. The community makes it bearable. 2.
