Thank you. You have to give them time. I remember most of are talks were in your music thread. Only when you came back did we start talking more. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
I do agree somewhat on that, but I think it's important to give new members a chance. After all, we were all new at some point, y'know!
Hah, you means Derpy's music thread. XD But I will give it time, I just feel so disconnected from the community now. I agree, I just feel so disconnected due to prior history on the forum.
Understandable. It's like when someone new joins a group of friends. Spoiler: Off-topic: I like your semi-new avatar, and by that I mean the little thought bubble. ;P I believe that's Sonic's beta sprite for Sonic 2? /nerd
I need to pay more attention to the introductions section...occasionally I'll see a name I don't recognize and feel bad for not welcoming them. :/
If I miss the intro I welcome them in whatever thread I see them in. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Same here. :/ We really ought to do this more often so they can come to us if they need any help. :] If I remember, I visit the thread. ^^"
The direction this thread has gone makes me feel pretty awkward, being a new(ish) person --almost like I've done something wrong by joining and all the old guard would rather any new ponies would just leave. :/ I know that's not the intent, but I think its worth mentioning that it makes me feel like that, and I am probably not the only one.
New members, older members...we aren't so different, its just what you allow yourself to imagine. All the newer members of the family can have a cuddle if they want.
Good eye, yes it is a sprite from Sonic 2. XP You haven't done anything wrong, we were just reminiscing on when the forum was much smaller, the new people have done absolutely nothing wrong. Wasn't saying they couldn't. XP
@"older members": when I was saying that what happened, and why are things changing (Brony Enthusiasm thread, and similar), no one took me seriously @"newer members": you're always welcome, I don't see why there's difference between new and old members (that's why I used ""). You're always welcome to be my close friends, old or new.
Agreed. Guys, let's get back to what the topic is supposed to be about and answer the questions, we can discuss this stuff in PMs or on Skype or something. Here's the questions in case you guys forgot:
