Taglines?

Well now I just need a cutie mark. Still hafta' figure that out. Hm...

 

Well, with the old rep system gone, I think it may be a good idea to reconsider the ideas presented in this thread.

 

It would be a neat feature, in my opinion. But I suppose signatures and even the cutie marks can serve the same function. I don't know, I just think it'd be more interesting than just "Junior/Senior Member".

 

I thought it'd be cool that after a few months of being an active member (Let's say 6 months or something) You get to make your own tagline/title for yourself or something. :]

 

I would definitely enjoy having a tagline above my name, similar to the one I have on the other forums page I visit. It might be able to spice up the forums just a bit, as long as no pony posts anything vulgar in it.

Lower navbar -> Forum Actions -> Edit Profile - Scroll to the bottom, enter the URL of your cutie mark image (which should be externally hosted).

I'm going to guess and say that this is a tagline? I'm not sure, but it is easily changeable in the forum settings on the gaming clan forum I go to.

...You guys know you could technically uses your "Location" (The thing below your avatar) as a tagline... even though it will say "Location" beside it.

Here is an example what I think a tagline(?) is. Well on the one forum I go to. Top one is a custom title, and the other two at the top are just something.

The one below my avatar is the actually "Tagline(?)"

Sorry Grey, didn't realize I'd tick you off so much. :/ I'll be sure to watch what I post more closely.

But yeah, back to the topic at hand, all these ideas were pretty cool, but when it really comes down to it, they're all really unnecessary since we already have a bunch of things to express ourselves... usernames, signature, cutie marks, etc. I can live with just having those.

 

I support this idea.
