Sorry for this thread being so late but I didn't know when this event happened

On November 10, 1975 the bulk freighter Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior with all hands. It was latter found out with a diving search that the Edmund Fitzgerald suffered several bulk head leaks on the main deck during a Northwester on the said date another freighter named the Arthur M. Anderson was the last ship to have contact with the Edmund Fitzgerald before her communications array was knocked out due to high winds and seas.

Years latter the ships bell was recovered from the wreck and brought on land and a funeral service was held. The bell tolled 29 times for all of the sailors that went down aboard the Edmund Fitzgerald. A song was also written for the ship and the crew by Gordon Lightfoot the link to the song shall be bellow.

Yeah, about 35 years late. :p

Many people don't realize that the Great Lakes can often be more treacherous than the oceans.

Join us next week as Rashall breaks the news about the Hindenburg.

Michigan is my Home. :3 Such a Tragedy to the 29 Men on the Edmund Fitzgerald. Even tho that was some time ago, still a tragedy to their families to loose their loved ones. This Song gives me Goosebumps. :3

History is important, my young pupil, Mane. To those seeking knowledge, this will be extremely helpful.
Thank you, Rashall, and don't mind my Pupil's snide remarks. They are rather childish, yes, be he is learning... slowly.

History's awesome, its why I took it for GCSE.

Of course, I mainly took it for the cold war.
