The very first Unreal Tournament spawned by the amazing multiplayer capacity if Unreal 1 is still a lot fun to play.

But then came Unreal 2. And then I cried.

    EDIT: And good morning, Rain!

I just hate how all EA cares about is money. It's about entertaining the gamers, not how much you can fill you pockets. I feel EA makes companies dumb down games so that they appeal to a bigger audience, so they get more money.

Yeah, I hate it as well. Feels like challenging games are now belittled and shadowed by totally scripted games that do most of the job for you.

Yeah they talk down to you and make you feel stupid.

We need more games like amnesia. Maybe I should only play indie games.

A lot of the games EA publish definitely feel like they've been tweaked to reach the largest demographic. After the success of CoD, everyone wants a peice of the FPS pie, leading to stale mechanics and narratives. No one innovates any more :(

And yeah, indie games are the way to go. At least the games are largely original.

    I LOVED THAT GAME!!!

Back when Lucasarts made those really good adventure Point'n'Click Games.

I think Activision is another terrible publisher. Although I must commend them for being the first 3rd Party publisher (back on the Atari 2600), they need to just go away. I greatly dislike Bobby Kotick :DFH:

I hate what EA did with Spore, take a look at the E3 (I think) version at YouTube. But they tweaked it so that 3 year olds who can't read can play it instead. :( I bought it because of what they showed at E3. Did you know they picked away a whole stage? You were supposed to become some kind of fish after being cell. Now you jump from being cell directly to the land face. -.-

Did I hear somewhere that Activision is supporting SOPA? Anyone know any details?

Also, I just found a 2600 at a yard sale! What kind of games did Activision make in the early days?

Really? I nabbed a couple of hours of play time at an event in London, and the fish stage was by far the best.

should give some information. He states in the description that it is EA, not Activision who is supporting SOPA. But personally i think both are...

Atlantis, Barnstorming, Boxing, Chopper Command, Cosmic Commuter, Crackpots, Dolphin, Dragster, Enduro, Fishing Derby, Freeway, Frostbite, Grand Prix, H.E.R.O., Ice Hockey, Kaboom!, Keystone Kapers, Laser Blast, Megamania, Oink!, Pitfall!, Plaque Attack, River Raid, River Raid 2, Seaquest, Skiing, Sky Jinks, Spider Fighter, Stampede, and Tennis.

If they support it, it wouldn't surprise me. Them and EA would love to see it pass.

Then support the developer, not the Publisher.

    Indie games ftw.
