Cool! Didn't know there was stuff like that on DA. I did post something myself long ago. Care to share a link?
well, I know I randomly saw it here and there some time ago, but didn't bookmarked it, nor remember where I found it although, if you wanna something similar I have one video I know of:
Oh. haha not the laser art i mean (it's very cool though) That is achieved in a video editor and likely also some kind of position tracker in those flashlights, which likely calculate the distance and location between the reciever (where the camera is at). What I have is not photoshopped or video editted at all, this is real. I use motors that follow a path of vectors that draw so fast that they make up an image. Also there are not ordinairy like laser pointers in the projector, but laser modules. Analog ones to be precise, meaning they can not only switch on and off but also dimm, giving the ability to mix colors to make more colors then every other display will ever make. here's a picture i made about 22 of juli 2011 in my front garden: View attachment 2149 When images get too complex for the motors to properly draw, i use the time intensive method: point pulling. View attachment 2150 Drawing for a laser is not comparable to normal drawing, you cannot make sketches and you must draw as much as possible in one go. The shortest route for drawing something is also prepared because i have to stay in a limit of points each frame.
