Hehe I got the fastest home internet you can buy in the philippines Sooo yea still slower then yours though
This is my dad's internet. Not exactly brilliant. When I'm at my mother's, I'll post hers, which is slightly better. Also, the more I look at it, the more Australia seems like a utopia.
Oh yea by the way you might want to exit out of any youtubes that are loading because that slows it down and gives an in-accurate reading
(using iPod at the moment) Is that megabits or megabytes? I can't remember in megabits but I normally download at 800KB/s to 1.5MB/s. New Zealand has some of the worst Internet in the world. In about 5 years we will be one of the fastest due to the fibre-optic rollout to like 90% of the country Will never beat Scandinavian Internet -.-
Before Comcast ****ed me over on the last setup, we were running dual 56 down/16 up cable modems, one of which I had all to myself. This is what my uncle has now, which is apparently slower than what he ordered. Either way, it's really inconsistent and we get sporadic spikes of 250-1100 MS/where our download crashes into the ground for 5-15 minutes occasionally. (This is slow internet for my uncle, who had dual T3 lines into his house when he worked for HP.)
This is an odd thing this is. It can't track my upload speed correctly; Most of the server I tried timed out on upload, the rest show 0.5 Mbps. I'd say that's rather inaccurate considering I've seen BitComet do 4.5 Mbps up. In any case, it got my down speed right.
No, its accurate. You're thinking megaBYTES, the speedtest is in megaBITS. 1.24 megaBYTES is 1298 kiloBYTES. 1.24 megaBITS is 158 kiloBYTES. There are 8 Bits in 1 Byte. Here's mine.
You're from the Philippines? I am too! ...or well my parents were, but I'm Filipino. :derpe: Here's mine.
o dear... I really have no idea why the ping is so high. Everything runs fine with no problems lol. Pingtest gives me 'A's as well
