I got those socks I wanted! (Yay!) I also got a ridiculous amount of Jelly beans. I don't rightly know why. Also a couple of books. Most of my good stuff I got some 12 days prior. Though I did get an awesome military strategy book. If I was good at RTSs before... Anywho; I'm happy!

Fantastic! But, i have you ever noticed how Hd tv's slow down gameplay on games compared to regular resolution?
I haven't... I got a 36" TV and a 24" monitor, and they run the same ( i also got another brick of a monitor lol)
Not on mine. Sure,the quality was a little less, but it played normally. And the games run just fine.
The speed on of the game is due to the games frame rate some games get frame rate issues at points hence the slow down. I've got both an HD TV 27" running at 1080i and an HD Monitor 20" running at 1080p both HDMI an you get slow down / lag in both. It's the game or if you play online it's the Internet speed
If you're talking about the blur with LCD HDTV's, that's common but has gotten better compared to older LCD HDTV's. Plasma TV's have almost no blur, are much more expensive, but are susceptible to screen burn-in. I think LCD's are much better, I never really notice the blur all that much.
What do you mean by 'fast' exactly? Is your friend's tv image blurry? Does it look like the image is out of sync with the sound?
