Here's the Clearwire I used to have, technically STILL have as a back up. By back up, I mean, I'd rather use string and tin cans to send data.

Roadrunner....Lightning?! I swear, they come out with new services every 5 minutes. Now I must look on their horrible website for 5 hours until I find out if I can get it.

Ohhhhh. My service isn't through the Brighthouse thingamajig lol. Mine is through the ugly TimeWarnerCable service, icky. Currently we are subscribed to Broadband Turbo with (pause for dramatic effect) POWERBOOST. Unfortunately though, where I live, the signal is terrible, and no one wants to fix it :DFH:.

Me too. As well with the poor internet signal, we lose cable frequently and some channels don't even work right when they should. The cable lines on my road are old and need replacement, but they don't want to do that. So what's the cure-all fix? Let's put amplifiers on the lines to boost the already terrible signal, making it worse! So we call, and the next day, what do they do? Oh if one amp won't work, lets throw on a second. They leave, and oops, now its shorted out and we have no cable for a week until they can send someone up again. True story. The only other choice for my area is satellite. Not the best idea when my house is surrounded by forest and mountains.

Another story: Lightning stuck one of the poles and we had no power for 5 days because since we live on a dead end road, along with 30 other people, we aren't important. So after begging for them to help us, they show up and put a new pole up, but leave the fallen one on the side of the road. This happened over the summer, and it's still there.

5-10 mbps download and 5 mbps upload could cover the everyman.

...But once you taste 56down/16up... It's ambrosia! Mmm...

I would love to have that but A) don't have enough money, and B) the highest package available under my service (50 mbps down 20 mbps up) isn't available where I am.

    having 60GB cap is annoying...

There's only like 1 or 2 unlimited plans in the country.

They've become rare. Comcast says unlimited, but my uncle once downloaded 2 TBs (yes, terabytes) worth of data in 1 month. They were pretty unhappy. They gave us a warning and said if it happened again they would deny us service for 1 full year under the name associated with the account. I owe Comcast $1600 under my name (though half of it is unreturned hardware). There's a story with all that...

Not great, but it's never given me any problems.

Talktalk sucks at customer support though. Seriously, check out their facebook page if you get the chance. It's hilarious.
