A bit off topic but I always thought that the pairings should be Dashie and Pinkie, Rarity and Fluttershy leaving Applejack and Twilight.

I based my choice on my personal traits and personality. Fluttershy is what I am, and RD is what I wish to be like (for the most part)
What you says makes complete sense but I feel that the alike one's attract. Rarity and Fluttershy both have knowledge about dressmaking and sewing and they both seem the most feminine. Pinkie and Dashie love pranking ponies and both has a sense of fun and adventure. And finally, Applejack and Twilight both are hardworking and thoughtful. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. I can see Pinkie comforting Fluttershy, and Rarity and Applejack getting along, especially considering the friendship between their two sisters. As for Twilight and Dashie, I dunno how, but it works.
TBH, I never liked PinkieDash. Then again it's my own opinion. [size=-2]TwiDash for the win![/size] :derpe: Also, I'll leave this here. Season 2 pretty much started that, although a bit of TwiDash appeared in the first pilot episode of season 1. Take a look at the above link. (same link as above) for some of my OTP. Also, PinkieShy got my attention due to SpeccySY's works and his PP and FS Christmas Flash (You'll like this flash.). Also, it's another opposite pairing, and SpeccySY's PinkieShy tumblr. Same goes with RariJack. Since that one episode on Season 1, that was another preferred pairing as well. People have their tastes, and mine is TwiDash all the way.
You are entitled to your own opinion, but I would let you know that TwiDash is my second favorite ship . I always had a thing for Rainbow Dash shipping, what my favorite is should be obvious. Why PinkieDash is my favorite is complex, but basicly Dash and Pinkie are my two favorite ponies at the moment, and they do have some scenes with great chemistry. Another reason is ironicly enough Cupcakes, you would think that would be a deterant, but for me, it is the opposite for some reason.
Interesting. Also, another reason I chose TwiDash as my OTP is that. If I were to relate these characters to reality, I would obviously be the lazy Rainbow Dash and I'm not that type of person who would want somepony like Pinkie Pie as a... "partner/soulmate." Like in reality, I'd be looking for someone studious and intelligent like that so that why I chose Twilight. Thus TwiDash somewhat started. DRD you sneaky sneaky devil. AppleDash is my favorite. When I look at it. I see Fluttershy and rarity. Twilight and Trixie/pinkie and Of course Applejack and Dash. I like all the pairing, those are just my favorite.
I agree. I think that this was the main reason cupcakes was quite effective. I personally found it quite bearable but some people at school seem to think it's really bad. The Gilda episode was what made me think that they should be paired. You could see how upset Pinkie was and that's what made me choose PinkieDash. If it were reality. I would think that the more alike they are the more they'd get on (or else online dating sites would go bankrupt). But this is just my opinion. *Cough* I'm right *Cough*
