    A census is a survey on the amount of a population. Nearly every country's government holds a census every so many years to get an idea on how many people live in said country. It covers the basic criteria such as "How many people live in this household?" or "How many males, how many females?", things like that. It is optional, and many people choose not to take the census, which is why the results are simply estimated.

    In this case, this is a 'Brony population census', which will gather how many Bronies are from what countries, what their favorite pony is, and so on. At the end of the survey, data will be collected and placed on a world map for everyone to see. Once again it is strictly estimated, there are many more bronies than what will be shown as many will not come across this survey. Also the data placement will not be very accurate, unfortunately, due to the fact that for Europe and Asia, that is the only choice. There are no specific countries to pick, which was a stupid decision in my opinion, as it will simply show a large blob in the middle of Europe, and Asia representing everyone for that continent...

    I must say that the creator(s) must have thought that like 95% of all bronies are in US, with the decision of having entire continents as one selection.
    Apparently my country isn't important enough either.

    I can see this servey was more for American citizens. "Europe" is vague but I didn't know whether to put UK in the other box to specify. Oh well, I'm interested to see the results.

    Just filled it out. I look forward to seeing the results. I can't say I have any brony friends at all. All my friends know and are cool with it and perhaps may be closet bronies, but probably not. I never befriended anyone on here really either.:cry: But I still love you guys.
