Kill me now. The thing that pisses me off most is that he says there are no "nods to adults within the show." "it's just for the pixie dust and magic" Ok whatever you say Fox news reporter.
good god maby there'l stop being jack flankers to people if the people just attack them derectly tip a car or somthing
I'm British so I wouldn't know this: Is Fox News a genuine informative news channel? This all seems too strange to go on national news. I normally enjoy these reports on bronies because they make me laugh and this one is no different.
we act badly when fox news dose it cause fox news is known to do things sarcastically in fox terms what they really think of adults who watch the show are "freaks" they do this all the time to people
FOX news is based in New York City, and broadcasts from studios there. They broadcast nationally and internationally, although I don't think this story would have made "national news." FOX news in general (my opinion) is very biased and formulates opinions too quickly and as a result, I hate them.
As I see it, Fox is similar to the Daily Mail here in Blighty. Sensationalist, slanderous, and (depressingly) successful. I wouldn't worry too much about them: the kind of people who go to Fox for their news are usually so opinionated and uneducated that argument is pointless. The best we can do is just ignore them and hope they grow up. Their reporters thrive on getting a rise out of the groups they criticise, so it's really best not to feed the parasprites and give them actual ammunition to throw at us.
I find it hard to believe that they are a big news channel and they still fail at using hidden microphones. Wait... There's no pixie dust! Have I missed an episode?
they been around before cable was around as far as im aware so there old and pretty much reported on everything at least once
Fox is run by Rupert Murdoch, who is the owner of (and main reason why many people shun) Sky. He was responsible for the phone hacking scandal last year. Not a nice man.
This. Fox news is filled with incredibly immature "reporters" that like to laugh at their own jokes and make everyone else look bad (like us).
To be fair, RedEye is meant to be a humorous sort of thing. It's their job to make fun of people. Of course, that's no excuse to mock people that don't deserve it in any way. I'm not quite sure what's so offensive to some people about a group of people who enjoy watching a cartoon. I don't see them targeting fans of other cartoons that are made primarily for kids (unless they do and I haven't heard about it?). Not to mention pretty much every other FOX news show, not just programs like the one seen in this thread, insults anyone and everyone they don't agree with, too. So really, the best thing you can do is ignore them and anyone who actually believes in everything they say.
Well, this is at least the least offensive of the fox news reports on bronies. But there is definatly nods to adults within the show, that reporter is either lying or is too stupid to pick up on them. Not that a fox news reporter would understand references to Benny Hill, Loony Toons, Xmen and Scooby Doo among other things which I have picked up references for in the show. Though, I think attention can only be a good thing in the long run, let them put us in the spotlight, let the bigots shake in fear before the might of love and tolerance .
Other than reports about bronies, the only thing I've seen that has anything to do with Fox News on Family Guy, where they seemed to do a pretty good job describing them.
I stopped watching the news years ago. FOX is a horrible news station. Their reports tend to be inaccurate, dull, shortsighted, and incredibly bias.
You might remember this: Ah yes, a woman who has never picked up an Xbox controller extollingthe crimes performed by Black Isle. I quote: "Mass Effect can be customized to sodomise whatever, whomever, however, the game player wishes," and "with its ‘over the net’ capabilities virtual orgasmic rape is just the push of a button away." Every post made about Fox News has to include a facehoof somewhere.
Well I wonder if you guys even noticed that is was whatever this "Red Eye" thing was. Which someone said in the comments of that video. I just ignore videos like this but whatever.
I understand that RedEye is one of Fox's "entertaining" sections, and is made to make fun of people. But Bronies are so unknown. So if all people know is the bull*squee!* Fox says about them, that's what people will think we are about. Allow me to gather up the information I have learned from Fox. Bronies are a bunch of grown men who collect unemployment and apply for disabilities so they can watch My Little Pony. They also like to act creepy and girly, and love the 'pixie dust' 'magic' and lack of adult appeal that My Little Pony is alllll about. See what I mean? If I was an average Joe who didn't know anything about the MLP fandom, this is how I would see it because obviously if Fox news says it, it must be true. Use RedEye to make fun of Obama, the government, or the fact that most people who participated in "Occupy Wallstreet" get their money from their rich business parents, or something that people are familiar with. Not an obscure trend that people don't know much about. It's obvious that Fox doesn't care about the consequences of such a report. This is just fuel for bullies to use against Bronies, both online, and in real life where it can become dangerous.
