Sorry... I know it's getting kind of old, but I wanted to share what Fox said about BroNYCon. Besides, it's just another conversation, no harm is being done. I'll shut up now.
Fox news is not a legit news source. There are two big news channels called CNN and MSNBC that tell legit news. Fox news is just a hate group. It is an unfortunate side effect of free speech. I'll gladly put up with the existence of Fox News in order to keep free speech though. Anyone that gets their so called news from Fox I automatically know are stuck up and ignorant fools. I won't waste my time with them. I tell them they watch too much Fox News and walk away.
CNN and MSNBC are among the only news sources I go by. I also like BBC too, they tell very good news.
I get that they are a comedy show, but they are not funny. It's like watching a ten year old calling people stupid names, and then laughing like a hyena. Claiming that it is suppose to be funny doesn't take away how stupid it is. Also, they do a poor job making the Bronies look bad because the reporter is more immature than the fans. First, he comes up with stupid ideas for ponies. Second, he sings the theme song is the most obnoxious way possible. It's so bad that I would rather listen to Rachel Black and Justin Bieber at the same time than listen to that again. Finally, his comment about PCP. Nicole Oliver, why didn't you banish him to the moon?! Poor Voice actors, you could tell that they didn't want to be around him. On a side note, It's sad watching this because you know that the voice actors care about the fans, and the fans care about the show.
Yea, the PCP comment really bothered me. That was so stupid to say, even Nicole Oliver's face expression showed how stupid that was. Also I liked how when he asked Ashleigh Ball to say that he was the best reporter ever, she used Rainbow Dash's voice. This was obviously because Applejack cannot tell a lie .
Yeah, Nicole really managed to get her disgust across Seriously, why would you say something like thet to someone who actually works on the show? What did he expect? "Yeah, that sounds like a great concept, I'll ring Lauren in the morning and tell her all about it".
To be "fair" (to say the least) I think he was trying to make an adult joke, assuming that we bronies are insane and love drugs and in turn, love PCP. The only drug I'm on is ponies so I have no clue what he was thinking.:derpe:
This makes me angry too. But it is fox news. The ironic thing is that the bronies, with big mac on their head and all came across as more sane then these asshats.
WELP, They may have been sarcastic as hell They may have singled out the weirder bronies. They may have made an amazing OC. They may have even done this to make us look bad... But let's look on the bright side, we're finally on the sarcastic level instead of just the "Comparing us to man-babies" level now. Improvement is improvement and for Faux news any kind is good.
I think this report was good for being a FOX report. They showed a lot of fans that explained their thoughts and it really showed how mature they were. I really liked when that guy showing how he acted when he was converted. After seeing that a lot of people will probably be curious and in the end, watch the show and becomming Bronies themselves. Everybody knows that the people at FOX themselves are weird and not people to trust so they will simply pick the facts of the conversations with the fans. If someone comes bulying using facts from FOX they will just look like complete idiots with people facehoofing all around. Thanks for sharing the video!
His singing... -groan- I'm still waiting for SNL to do a My Little Pony parody like they did an otaku wannabe parody... AND there are too nods to the adults! What about the Sportsnet ponies?!
Not to mention the "The Big Lebowski" reference, the number 42 as Twilight's racing number in 'Fall Weather Friends', and Pinkie's infamous phrase "The punch has been, Spiked!" in 'Owl's Well that Ends Well'! And I'm sure many Star Trek fans squealed with joy when they first heard Discord speak. So either he watched an episode without a particular reference (obviously they aren't going to place references in every one), or he watched like 5 minutes and gave up.
All I need to know about trusting what Fox News ever says is the fact that they sued to be allowed to legally lie on a NEWS channel. Here, you can google for info on this. Disgusting behavior.
I didn't even notice that! Ashleigh Ball is so smart. You know, I just came up with something funny. It's like if that guy actually asked Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Applejack would look at Rainbow Dash and say, "Good luck Sugercube." She would run off. Rainbow Dash would say, "Wait. Come back, Applejack!" Then Rainbow Dash would say that he is the best brony. He would leave, and then Rainbow Dash would clean her mouth out with soap.
Wow... I was completely unaware that news stations could LEGALLY lie! That's so bull. I thought they got in trouble if they got called out for lying. Guess not...
@Dragonbait; "Avast! AV" blocked some malicious image lol. It's all fine, well for me. Even with NoScript and ABP. Anyways, I didn't know Fox was legally allowed to lie.
