I've gone pretty much totally away from Facebook now. Not that I ever really payed much attention to it in the first place.
its not really my thing really if i wanna talk with someone i just use threads or steam or even my own msn by to spend my entire day poking someone? as big Macintosh once said "nope"
One good thing came out of using it. Finding old, forgotten friends. Turns out a lot of them have same interests as me, so now I got a lot more current friends who are like me ^_^
just saying that all that time to waist on face book id prefer to work on my fanfic more and make a new chapter (witch i should be doing now by my own rule i made for it but decided to wait till some people actually suggest what they might like to see in it) anyway bottom line facebook: one minute your talking with a friend the next, your spending 8 to ten hours on a fake farm
Facebook is only really useful for getting quick access to ongoing projects. I check out what VolpinProps is making, and keep tabs on Overgrowths progress. Oh, and digging up dirt on people. That too. Seriously, the first thing employers do after you send them your resume is check your facebook profile. If your most recent status is "down the pub wid my mates ******* arsenal **** yeah", they won't be ringing you back.
I used it one day. I seen the list of the people I went to school with, reminded me how much I disliked them. So I don't use it.
I had my old primary school headmaster on Facebook. He was one of the few who posted decent status updates with good English.
