@ Test: Not quite. A crêpe is lighter and thinner than your traditional American pancake. Also, crêpes are more commonly used like tortillas, often wrapped around some sort of filling. English pancakes are more similar to crepes in that they are often wrapped around things, but the composition of the batter and the method of frying are quite different. Now Scotch pancakes, they're something completely different. Like an ultra-thick, mini pancake. Great for snacks or for building towers.

Yes. A million times yes. Lemons are surely the way to go, but sugar does tend to help with the sharpness. If you do it right, you get this brilliant contrast between the sweet of the sugar and acid of the lemon, and the crunchyness of the sugar against the softness of the pancake... Bliss.
