Long ago, it was prophesied that the Mare in the Moon would one day return and cast Equestria into a never-ending night. As time went on, many ponies made the tale out to be just that--a pony tale. Many others, meanwhile, simply forgot about its existence. One unicorn, however, saw the signs the prophecy foretold and prepared herself. Twilight Sparkle, with the help of her friends Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy, defeated the Mare in the Moon--Nightmare Moon--and brought their beloved home of Equestria back into the sunlight. But not all was well. Twilight Sparkle was not the only one who remembered the story and took it for what it was: a tale of warning. Other ponies anticipated the moment, eagerly awaiting the arrival of eternal night and their new, dark princess, but their lifelong waiting ended abruptly and fruitlessly as the six friends saved the day. For a time after Princess Luna was reunited with her sister, all in Equestria was as it should have been, ordinary and peaceful. Then, out of nowhere, strange things began happening: the weather started to fluctuate unnaturally, causing intense heat or heavy rains when least expected; some nights seemed to stretch on longer than usual, and the following days would be shorter in turn; bad luck seemed to strike even the luckiest of ponies, results ranging from a simple stumble on the ground or a burnt pastry to a sudden crash of a pegasus just moments earlier in flight. Princess Celestia quickly caught word of such curious goings on. At first skeptical, she took no immediate action, though as the events continued she had no choice. The princess sent out a proclamation, calling for ponies willing and able to investigate the situation to meet at Canterlot Castle for a briefing. Who would answer the princess' call? ---- Okay! Appearance: He is a completely dark pony but really no pony knows he always wears a hood covering everything of his body but his eyes he also has a silver mane. Personality: He is a calm pony but yet mischievous he can play a prank or so he can be fun and all that other stuff but really he is a serious or bored (Mostly bored) he knows Pinkie Pie as a business associate she usually goes towards his tent to and order a lot of fortunes they got to know each other and now they are both friends they go to each business and talk buy stuff, and all other stuff friends do and only Pinkie knows what he looks like without his cloak.
I'm *yawn* male. I dunno, the only thing special about me is my cutie mark, job and sleeping issues. *yawn* Huh, that's actually a lot.

The user's gender, yeah, but some people roleplay characters of a different gender. EDIT: I hope me forgetting to put "OOC/Sign-up" in the thread title didn't keep others from joining. Well, I'm not sure I can accept Kyrios. Unless it was a dragon like Spike (small, not very powerful, etc.), I think it would be too easy to godmod with. In addition, seeing as most people only have one or, at most, two characters, one person having four might be a little much. Is that okay? Okay, sorry it took so long to return. Now... Which pony to use? I only want to use one of my multitude of OC's (not all are for MLP, relax)... I know who. Name: Galileo Nickname: Stargazer Physique: Pegasus (m), slim Age: Roughly 2 human years, which is about 13 in pony years Appearance: A dark blue pegasus with golden hooves and muzzle. The hair around is hooves is similar to Big Mac's hooves. His mane and tail are lime with a lemon streak, and his eyes are gold as well. He wears a light grey dress vest and a black watch. Personality: Galileo is very quiet, and gets along well with Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle. He loves nothing more than sitting on a hill at night and just watching the stars, which is where he found his special talent. He started seeing messages in the stars that warned of terrible things to come. Rather than using this talent for his own gain, he started warning other ponies about what he saw. Some called him insane, others heeded his warnings, but when they found out that, if it weren't for him, some of the most important ponies in Equestria were saved from an ambush of Diamond Dogs, they started listening more. Though many ponies still hate him for his bizarre gift, he still watches the stars for danger. Cutie Mark:
