This thing with patented seeds already are a problem, I remember talking to a few farmers I know about it, and they told me that a one of their farmer friends had lost his whole farm due to the fact that the farm next to his had patented seeds. The thing was that the seeds on the farm next to him got moved over thanks to birds/wind, wisch gave them the right to sue him because he was "using their seeds". Himself he was an ecological farmer and has never wanted those. Just imagine all this "copyright seeds" being eaten by birds, who fly and poop all over others farms and then they sue the ecologic farmers. Another thing: You probably all know about the sweet stuff in light sodas called aspartame? It's very unhealthy, but, there is this plant called "stevia" (in swedish) that's super sweet (I actually got one, sometimes I pick of a leaf and chew and GOD it's sweet!) that would be perfect to replace aspartame. The problem is that Stevia is banned in the food industry to protect the aspartame industry. :/
Wait this thing was passed!? I don't believe it what will become of the world now? All I can say is that I hope something happens soon that makes the world change it's mind. Brace yourselves...Protests are coming...and mostly governments that won't care a single bit.
I don't want to change the topic to religion here but I honestly think that this whole thing boils down to religion. I truly believe as a Christian that there is a spiritual battle going on here. Now I'm not saying that the government is the devil here but in my belief I think that the devil is at play here. He/it is causing us to be greedy and do all this sin. The only thing that keeps me from losing it here is the knowledge that so long as I do the right thing in God's eyes then everything will be ok in the end. Even if I am persecuted and surrounded by evil. I will try to keep my cool here... I was worried about this whole thing but then my wonderful father told me those words... I am just stating my opinion and in no way do I wish to start a flame war. If you disagree then quite frankly I don't mind. Like I said, it is only my opinion...

Seriously though, even if I am not a christian, I cannot deny the possibillity that the corporate overlords is the new world order, supposedly led by the Antichrist. If that is so, does that mean copyright is the mark of the beast? If so it implies the corporations in the future will own copyright on real individuals. Assuming the four horsemen are treaties, there are supposed to be three more Conquest, War and Death, any which can be the national defense authorization act. I love prophecy, so fun for speculation. I hope prophecy is wrong in this case, cause it says stopping it is a lost cause.
tho one is free to believe that this is due to a religious cause it is fools play to believe that this is a form of the Apocalypse seance the Apocalypse is for-told to happen only after 9 years of global peace (many believe this is what the anti-Christ is born for))

Hmm...did not know that. Whatever I am not believer anyway. I am just writing a novel based on the apocalypse. This way we can actually stop ACTA, though I am losing hope, I think we have a dark time ahead of us. But even if it passes we can just hope it won't be exploited, a small glimmer of hope.
It has been signed by 39 countries, but still needs to be voted on to pass. We need to pressure our governments to vote against ACTA, or else it will most certainly pass.
Greed has Poison Man's Soul. The Fact that ACTA Exist blows my mind, once again. It's the money and it shall always be money. Does business like for a example like the Gas company have enough money? Sweet Celestia, this redundant. What about the people of the our country? Nope, Money. What about Freedom? Nope, Money? Etc.
The more I here about ACTA the more I wish people would have listened to bands like LOC. Sure they are just a band, but they've been singing against crap like this for years. Turk is right, it's all money. It's not enough that they HAVE 80 million dollars. They need another 80 million. Why? They don't need it. They don't need 12 houses, 12 boats, 5 planes and to top it all off, with ACTA they give up human life to make that money. I so happy that the world leaders care so little for human life that they will throw it away just to fill their pockets more. Sure money is good, but the way the government throws it away on wars and weapons. Then let the rich use loop holes to keep it all. Their is no freedom left in the world, only masters.

Makes you wonder in whats the point of waking up? Sometimes i wish to go to sleep and never wake up or leave to my Fantasy world where nothing like this exists. Bills like this are like Cancer. SOPA and PIPA to me are Cancer. It's only spreads unless it's left untreated. SOPA and PIPA are Dead. The Cancer is Gone right? Wrong! Cancer has it ways of coming back and would you know it...ACTA! Looks Everypony. The Cancer is Back and This one is not gonna give up so Easy. Give this Cancer a New Taste of Hell and Terminated this Bill.
In a way, there was never freedom. There were always only masters. There will be only masters in the future too. The point is, we have to learn to be our own masters, and neither be held nor hold others in our control through trickery or deceit. Perhaps, this 2012 end is only for the emperors and kings of our time? Perhaps it is only for the CEOs and presidents, when they lose their power over the millions they enslave now, and will have to command others through commanding their respect?
