I have only recently started watching MLP FIM and now cant get enough of the good stories subtle comedy and references. Why didnt we get 'toons like this when i was small. Love to see cartoons break the fourth wall, Pinkie Pie is a legend!
Don't suppose the Power Puff Girls counts? Welcome to everypony, most of the stuff can be viewed from the main forum screen, but this link may be the best possible one.
Hello Butterscotch, Welcome to Everypony; Where everypony is somepony And ponies run wild. Aye, It would have been good to have TV shows like this back when I was a kid. Ah well. Anywho, Enjoy your stay! Sent from my iPod touch 4G using Tapatalk
Yes, I suspect you and I will get along quite nicely. Heh. ^^ Welcome to Everypony, ButterscotchMedley! I hope you enjoy your stay with us!
Hey there ButterscotchMedley! Welcome to our herd! I don't know when you were small, but I've found few cartoons can compare to our memories of the cartoons of our childhood. Of course, we go back now and watch them, and wonder what we were thinking . . . But, surely not all cartoons since the days of your smallness have been bad, have they? Helps to know when you were small, I suppose. Any ways, enjoy yourself, post aplenty, listen to EPR, and above all, have fun!
Again thanks for the nice welcome, i grew up with cartoons like Ghostbusters (which was good), but others like DinoRiders, M.A.S.K., Transformers and the like were true vehicles for the toy lines they spawned from. Of course the girls cartoons were mostly insipid and twee (except She-Ra a guilty watch of my childhood). I've just realised that i've argued against my own arguement, ah well...
I loved the old Ghostbusters and Transformers! Those were fantastic cartoons! I did suffer through endless showings of He-man as well, mostly because my youngest brother was into him, and we had to watch his show . . . So, yes, I've seen She-Ra a time or two. Another one from that age I liked was Thundar the Barbarian. Remember him? Mmm, Princess Ariel! *looks around guiltily* Oh, um, yeah. I remember that show.
Nice to meet you all, i dont remember Thundar, but then the U.K. were very lucky at that time to get anything Ghostbusters, Thundercats (cant believe i forgot that one )), i got to see on T.V. but the rest i only saw on Video. Arrgh, i nearly forgot Dungeons and Dragons, that was epic! View attachment 2841
