Could someone please help me, I'm trying to get a mark onto my user page, i go to the panel, I made an account in Imageshack and copied the image link into the box, I hit enter and it tells me its an invalid link, I have tried every link on Imageshack and Deviantart and I still get the same thing. I followed the instructions under the box to the letter and guess I'm not understanding what its not working. The image attached to this is the one from Imageshack and its linking just fine on the thread V_V
Make sure it's a direct link. Is the URL you put in the one that takes you to a page that still has the host site logo and scheme?
Looks like you may have too much in the first part of the URL. Remove the "www." portion of it. I did that, and when I removed that part, it came up in the browser for me. http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/4668/animationmarking.jpg
Make sure the URL ends with .jpeg or .png, or any kind of image file extension. As long as it does, the link should be valid.
Make Sure It Fits Size,If Nothing Works,Save It And Make It Smaller. Probably Would Work... LET THIS ENTIRE THREAD BE A TUTORIAL TO ALL YOU OTHER PONIES
yeah, i'd just try reuploading it, cuz the link you have posted is a dead one. How big is the image you're trying to post?

Well the answer is in there, for future reference: Unlike avatars cutie marks are not stored on our server, they are referenced from a remote location, specified by the user in their profile. If you've entered a 'full' working image filepath (from the world wide web) , there shouldn't be a problem. Linking from certain sites may not work however, due to their restrictions. E.g. an album of yours on another forum, only those logged into that forum may be able to see the image, which would make it inaccessible to most of our members. Also be sure to use 'direct' and 'static' links where the path ends in the image extension e. g. http://www.randomsite.com/images/myicon.jpg As opposed to things like; http://www.imagesrus.com/images/image.php?id=4546279 OR http://564.imagerus.com/864/ etc. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
I have a question of my own..Where can i change my profile pic and cutie mark..I tried to do the cutie mark when i first register but it screwed up and said I wasn't logged in..thats partly due to the fact that I had closed my laptop and forgot about it..But i'm trying to do that now and I can't find it...Please help!!
