Okay, so I wasn't going to introduce myself, because I don't really feel like I'm part of the herd; but this really nice pony over on EPR convinced me to come over and say 'Hi'! My journey with MLP:FiM all started out with my boyfriend the Brony. Yes, I'm a filly, so that's one strike against me, right? And I'm like way old.... almost 40. Two strikes! And I'm a total geek... okay, so maybe that's not a strike against me in this herd :-D. But yeah, awkward filly is awkward. Sometimes I feel so flutter-shy, even though I wish I could be more like Dashie! The BF is *definitely* Pinkie Pie from forelock to flank, and sometimes I feel like I just don't fit in. Although the one MLP meet-up we went to, everypony was *very* nice! So, anyhow, that's me, escargot. I don't yet have a cutie mark, as I'm really not certain of my path yet. Although I'm leaning towards a bow (archery, not pretty ribbon), since as we speak I'm working on a bowstring for the longbow that I'm making. - escargot

Well, I think your part of the herd, even if you don't feel like it. I know there are members here that are much older than you. I'm almost your age myself. The fandom may have started with 16-24 year olds, but it is spreading more and more. I think we are going to see the average brony age get higher and higher in the coming months. I think most recently I had heard that the average age was 21.
