Hey ponies, Just really,really wanted to share what i did with plywood today: I din't paint it,because it would be just to girly and gay(because of the colors). What you think? (Btw had problems entering the title,some sort of forum glitch.Needed to use the developer tool to delete some button that made that glich).
Nooo, don't paint it. It looks rustic and therefore awesome. And that's strange. I made a thread earlier today and didn't have any bug. Oh wellz.
Yeahh i thought the same I don't want to paint it because it will look very girly,and im male.The necklace is a part of something that i love and am fan of it,without others knowing that it is from a cartoon,a girly cartoon as others could think.
It is pretty awesome! Nice one! Personally, I would paint it the colours of her actual cutie mark. I guess I'm less concerned about looking "Girly". It does look pretty awesome without the paint, though!
I dunno I still love the wooden look to it. I just think painting it will take from that and look weird as a necklace. I've always loved things for their simplicity.
Thank you :} It is pretty easy to make,just need a little peace of plywood,that plywood saw(shape of U i used) and a printer(optional),marker for the edges.
That's pretty cool. Personally, I would paint it, but my wife, who's the artist of the family, says NO! So I will defer to her opinion. I kind of thought Applejack's cutie mark would be perfect for plywood - although three separate apples would be hard. You'd have to make them touching.
Or you could drills a small hole in an each apple and connect them all with metal strips,glue metals trips in each hole.And that would look pretty good
