Tekkie watched a phoerce slip around the corner and shook his head in disbelief "If you talk like that I wouldn't blame her" he muttered as he followed him, Tekkie looked around as they walked - more like sneaked - around the dungeon, quickly walking off to a single cell door he started tapping on it, quickly realising he was falling behined, Tekkie started to pick up the pace and headed into Phoerce's direction. Tekkie peered around a corner and sighed with relief as he walked around it. ((Sorry about the small reply, couldn't come up with much to work with that.. >~<))
((This happens as gears enters the cavern/ cave thingy after the guards)) The sun seemed so bright on my eyes it cuased horrible pain. I lowly let my eyes adjust to the harsh light and then realised i had made i had escaped Celestias duneons i was free, i also realised i couldn't fly and my left wing was bent at right angles and winced with pain as i tried to flex it. It took several minutes for me to stand up and try to walk. i stagger out of the ditch that i had landed in and notice out the corner of my eye a pony with some gears or cogs as a cutie mark enter a cave with another pony but didn't get a proper look at them as they had entered the darkness. Not knowing what to do or where to go i follow them gingerly from a distance hoping that they can help me. folling from a distance in the darkness wasn't easy but I managed, i was about to call out when heared some noise for the first time from them and I froze simultainiously to them. I decided now was the time to let them know of my presense and hope they can help me. ((gears i'll let you decide what happens when we meet so, have fun with it and go for your life))
They seem to have travelled for miles under the earth, taking an innumerable number of twists and turns. Dim lights start showing up every so often, though the guards ahead of them maintain their lanterns. Dark mouths of indeterminate depth gape on each side, the bars -like rusted, jagged teeth- only visible on closer inspection. Midnight is almost asleep walking. The chase, the walk, the mad dash to the castle and now hours of sneaking have taken their toll on the two of them. Gears [weary but vigilant] Youthful energy burns up so fas- Midnight [snapping awake] "Someone's behind us." The comment startles Gears Gears "I though you were asleep?" Midnight "Not yet..." They press on, not knowing if their pursuer is friend or foe, but not wishing to lose sight of the party ahead to find out. Midnight "How can we be passing dungeons when we haven't passed any guard posts yet? What keeps the prisoners from being rescued?" Far behind them, further back even than their mysterious stalker ((Cedeus)), two guards are following on their normal patrol, unaware of the three ponies they had unwittingly trapped. ((How will Stormblitz react to having walked straight back into the place he just escaped from, with guards both ahead of and behind him?)) ((Neither Midnight or Gears know that there are guards behind them. You can decide whether you want to notice them or leave them for a nasty surprise. I would advise that they remain unknown for maximum lols later on.))
((Sorry bout not posting in a while, I ended up getting logged out of Everypony and forgot my password. Again, sorry about that)) ((Tekkie, if your still there send me a private message)) Palace dungeons-Stormblitz, Gears "Hello there." Gears and Midnight turned to see the pegasus who had been following them, Stormblitz had expected them to at least be a bit surprised to see her, but there wasn't the slightest hint of shock on either of their faces. "Am i really that bad at sneaking?" The question wasn't meant for anypony, and it wasn't one that needed to be answered. Stormblitz words echoed around the dark labyrinth of cells, alarming the guards, their shouts responding back. "Get down and be quiet if you want to live." Forcing you to follow her instructions Midnight shoves the two of you to the ground before making her own presence known to the guards, namely with her right forehoof making solid contact with the face of one of the guards. Unfortunately the second guard alerts any companions in the corridor with a loud bellow, before he too finds himself surprisingly unconscious. "I'll take care of this, you guys just get out of here." Midnight, seeming quite energetic now despite her previous exhaustion, rushes into the darkness, the guards that we're previously behind you now following here, yelling for their comrades. ((You could follow after her and help her against the guards. But she's bought Cedeus a precious chance to escape (hopefully for good), and trying to free the rest of the captives while the place is on high alert may not be the best idea. The choice is up to you.))
2? "Oi! Who's down there?!" Guards further ahead, standing sentry at a heavy door are now on alert. Gears Run back through more than twenty junctions and almost certainly get lost, while our position is still known, or take out the guards who know where we are and try to hide? The guards peer into the dark of the tunnel. A dark mass shoots out at them, a grin on its snout. 1? "INTr-" The guard's cry is cut short as the pony reaches them, snapping his wings out to the sides and catching them both in the throat. Gears turns and bucks one in the temple, bouncing his head off the wall, before jumping upon the other. Had he not been wearing a helmet, the guard would have crumpled there. He staggers up and, seeing the intruder pinning his companion, goes to champ down on his sword hilt. However, a rock, brought crashing down on his head by one opportunistic captive, proves to be one too many blows and he drops, out cold. Gears [as he removes the second guard's helmet] "Did you think I'd run?" Demon Bunny peeps out from under the sock. In the dim light, Gears appears to have four eyes, glowing red in the lantern's fire. His hoof is primed to give the finishing blow. 2? [in a rasping tone, due to the throat strike] "Mon-ster..." The pinned guard faints before Gears can strike him. Gears turns and looks to the prisoner that had followed him. An earth pony, and a strong one at that. Gears "That should be all of the guards that know where we are, but more are sure to be searching. My partner, the one who knocked out your captors, is taking out more of them back the way we came. Are the other prisoners still with that pegasus?" 3? [in a hushed, but still booming, deep voice] "As far's I know. Th' di'n't look to be going anywhere." Gears "We'd best go back to collect them then." The two return to the pegasus ((Storm Blitz)) and the prisoners. Gears points a hoof at the unknown mare. Gears "I'll get your story later." He then explains the situation to all of them. "There's a door down there. It may lead into the castle. Now it's only a matter of time before these tunnels, and the castle, are crawling with guards. So I'll ask you this: do you want to get out of here quickly by taking a direct -though dangerous- route through the castle, or risk getting lost down here? I certainly can't remember the way back." He glances down the tunnel where Midnight had gone. What's taking her so long?
Tekkie looked up at the sound of a commotion, quickly he took off in the direction, stopping to hide behind a wall as three guards ran past. He turned his head around the corner and watched as a fourth guard straggled along behind, taking the opportunity Tekkie picked up a rock in his mouth and threw it at the third guard; as quietly as he could, Tekkie tried to get himself out of eye shot of the guard, determined to find out what the commotion was. Tekkie stopped at the sound of other ponies talking about escaping, he didn't realise the fourth guard had caught up with him until he felt the sudden pain of being bucked in the face, stumbling back he shook his head and wrapped his mouth around the closest thing he could get to a weapon, a stick. Tekkie growled with frustration and threw it away, putting his head first and charged at the guard, grunting as he was easily slammed aside. ((Just tryin' to get into the current events xP))
((This is the first time i have had to really write dialogue so if this is a bit dodgy please forgive me)) "Erm not that I really know who you are but I might be able help if you want to go through the castle, I still know it back to front, if you want to trust me of course", I said in an unsure whisper, slowly getting quiter I continued to say, "I could get us out really quickly but guards will be crawling all over the place and as you can see I am in no state to fight, I'm Stormblitz by the way and I can confirm for you that the door you see there leads into the lower castle dungeons." The horrid I had stayed in or the last eight years and might have to re-enter, the thought sent shivers down my spine but what choice did I have and decided to put on a brave face and go with watever these ponies decided, they were my only hope after all. ((You can call me by name now yay for and stuff so go ahead you get to choose what happens as I have decidied to follow, you could always try to fix my wing or something to, at least put it in a splint))
Palace Dungeons-Tekkie, Gears, Stormblitz The force of the guards blow sent Tekkie reering (Not sure if that's the right word) towards Gears, and Stormblitz. The guards, looking towards the pony that had tried to assault them, saw the other intruder's and began to charge at them, before a voice boomed eerily around the dungeons. "Halt" The guards stopped mid charge, one of them almost falling over as he dug his forehooves into the ground. Once they had recovered the guards retreated through the winding dungeon before dissapearing into the dark reaches of the place, taking away the only source of light. "So, I see you have been quite the nasty problem for these guards, haven't you? But I'm afraid that I'm going to have to put a stop to your rampage." The voice echoes around the walls, with no way of tracing it back to it's source. "There's no point looking for me, though I know precisely where you are. But then again, where would be the sport in killing you without you knowing your slayer's face." Two torches lit up ahead of you, revealing a pitch black male pegasus, with short hair just as dark as his coat. "I am Solace, Leader of the Sol Assasins, and before you ask, no, the Sol Assasins were not named after me, it was meant to be Solar but got shortened because it sounded cooler; the fact it sounds like my name was simply a coincidence." The strange pegasus didn't seem to intimidating, he actually looked rather puny. But then again, one didn't need to be particularly strong to be an assasin. Solace spoke again matter-of-factly, inspecting his hoof as if he were simply talking to some old friend. "It would be a shame to kill all of you so soon. Speaking of which, I have two gifts for you; or rather, a gift and a half. As if on cue a guard entered behind him, carrying an unconscious, but still breathing Midnight. "This one here put up quite the struggle, and i beleive it would be a shame to kill her outright. Besides, if i killed her now this would be far too easy. Which brings me to the half a gift." Another guard entered, this one carrying the severed bloody head of Phoerce. "This one wasn't quite so fortunate, fell for one of my gulliotine traps. Was trying to get to the royal jewels would you believe it. Though I'm not so sure you really want this gift do you, nevermind then." One of the guards shoves Midnight, sending her sprawling towards you two, before the torchlight fades away and the dungeons are plunged into darkness once again. Solace's voice once again echoes to you. "It would be boring just killing you like this, so I'm going to make a little game out of it. You have ten minutes to escape from this place, if your not out by then, I'm going to begin hunting you down. Oh, and just so you know, all of the traps here are now LIVE! So don't think the way you came is going to be the same as before. Let the fun commence!" ((Hooray, I've introduced my first OC villian type guy. A word of warning, watch out for this guy. He's not kidding when he says he's the leader of the assasins, so it would be a very bad idea to try to fight him under these conditions. Good luck.))
Gears grunts and tries to get Midnight on his back. Gears "Bucking assassins..." Normally they don't mess around like this. I bet Aether has something to do with it... but I doubt even she'd just let us go. They can't be intending to keep their word. Either they'll kill us anyway, or they'll follow us back to base. The large earth pony takes Midnight on his own back. ? "Don't put y'rself out; I can take 'er weight. 'Name's Cinnamon." Gears "Gears Flywheel. Stormblitz, if you know the way then you'd better lead us, and fast." He trots up to her, but notices something odd about her other side as he passes. "Hey, you're holding your wing funny, is it hurt?" ((Btw, so this party has Stormblitz, Midnight, Tekkie(?), Cinnamon, me, the unicorn who sent the SOS, and how many others?))
((This RPG gets better by the minute... It is my favorite RPG so far. Is there a way I could enter still? Perhaps I could help them. Deactivate some traps. Distract Solace. You know the drill. I don't know if I could be just another prisoner or a last time reinforce from Luna, whatever feels/sounds better.))
Tekkie looked up and frowned at the ominous voice "It's not a recording, that's for certain" he muttered under his breathe as he looked at the pegisi with the odd-looking wing "That doesn't look too healthy, maybe if we get out of here y'should get that checked?" he mumbled, Tekkie looked at the head of phoerce and gulped loudly, he could feel his body go cold, either from fear or shock he didn't know, he wasn't a doctor.
"Yes of course my wing hurts," i squeled in pain," have you ever seen a pegasus wing bent at a right angle and healthy." I stopped and looked at all the prying eyes on me realising i had just addressed an entire group af stangers. and slumped to the floor. " that was un called for, sorry here i'll lead the way out," and trudged toward the exit with my head hung. "The exit it through this door then you follow the hall untill an intersection then go right and that will take you out the back door," i Proclaimed in a quick and nervous voice. I wasn't sure whether i should just run or what i had never had really thought what i should do in this situation so i stood back and let the one name Cinnamon go past me on i followed closely. ((sorry that was a bit short, didn't have much time to write)) ((gears feel free to control me a bit in your responce as i am saying i dont have much choice but to do what the other ponies ask at the moment in my current state))
Rashall scouts the edge of the forest not knowing fully what to do at the moment. He decides to wait for others to come to him if they need him.
((Phoerce is dead... He got beheaded.)) Gears "Well, I'm no medic, but I'll see what I can do about it after we get out of here." Through the door, Gears sticks close beside Stormblitz as they pass nicer dungeons, if such a word could be used for a dungeon, with actual smoothed stone walls and floors. Luckily, they set off no traps during the journey. He glances at his pocket watch. Gears 7 minutes left. The door opens fairly easily. All in attendance shield their eyes as the the light level increases. Unicorn prisoner "Are we out?" Gears "No, that was just a three-minute trot; this is the hard part. We're on the second floor." Stormblitz "I jumped off a balcony down that hallway to get out." Gears "But the unicorn and earth ponies can't do that. We need to find some stairs." Six minutes. Cinnamon "Isn' anypony else worried tha' there ain't no guards around?" Location: Everfree Forest - Rashall, Moondancer Celestia soars overhead, back in the direction of the palace, followed by a contingent of pegasus guards. A veritable stampede of other guards follows after her on foot, their dust-cloud obscuring all but the fastest runners. None seem to notice Rashall or Moondancer. At the same time, two robots scuttle out of the forest and into Fluttershy's cottage, powering down almost as soon their legs lock back into place. Moondancer follows them in and, with some difficulty, removes the tapes. As her horn glows, the tapes sparkle and begin to replay, in startling clarity, what had transpired in Everfree. ((Sorry, I did a timeline derp. I said that Gears and Midnight spent hours in the tunnels and that the bots only had a half-hour coil, but forgot to bring the bots back. XD))
"Well in the time I spent here I didn't really ever use the stairs as I was once able to fly so I think and when I say think I defiantly mean think that the stairs should be just over there", I said as I pointed down a nearby corridor. As the group went down the hallway I found I was right and there were stairs leading down into what appeared to be impending doom. The stairs I had located led strait down into the palace gardens which meant we would be home free if it wasn't for the fact it was crawling with guards preparing for something big but I had no idea what, I heard no event plans whilst I was locked up. "Uh-Oh", I proclaimed and reflex set in I created I a mist shielding myself from site and moved back behind cover. Cinnamon pushed past me and froze when she saw the seen outside and I quickly enshrouded her in mist to and she too moved back behind cover. "Know any other exits?" The question was clearly for me but I had no answer and not wanting to disappoint I thought very hard about other exits and came up with nothing and I was also trying to think why no one had asked about the mist yet but I was clearly on their minds as I could be there gaping mouths and wide eyes. I shook my head in shame knowing I had let the group down and walked slowly through the group and went and stood next to gears that were also staring at me. "Erm could the able bodied Pegasus fly the earth ponies and unicorns out the window to safety?” I muttered so only gears could hear. ((There we go I created a problem making it all the more funer, and I explained the missing guards somewhat, and you know sort of know what I can do to an extent)) ((XD I forgot about Pheorce when I wrote that))
((Cinnamon's a guy, lol... XD)) ((I read back a bit and am going to assume that the Cinnamon and the Unicorn were the only prisoners. "A unicorn and another from the Republic". Since I haven't read anything to state otherwise, I'm also going to assume that Tekkie was the only one of his group who stumbled on us.)) ((That gives us an even split of 2 earth ponies, 1 unicorn, and 3 pegasi*. I say "even" because one of our pegasi is currently earthbound but can use something that closely resembles magic, so really it's more like 2, 2, 2. Gears' magic is almost all used up for now, so he doesn't count.)) ((*I know that it should technically be "pegasuses", but there isn't any Greece in Equestria, so human word sources don't matter.)) Gears [indicating to each of them in turn] "The only one that I'd be able to lift is you, Stormblitz, or you, the little earth pony, or Midnight." Five minutes. "Cinnamon, you're way too big to carry. But even if I were able to manage more than one trip, I'd never make past them without being seen, unless you intend to give me cloud cover." Gears Cloud cover... "Wait, that's it! If you're on a cloud, you don't need to be able to fly. Do you think you would be able to lift one of them? in three trips, we cou-" Cinnamon "Hey, ah think the little one's wakin' up..." Gears "Forget everything I just said. Cinnamon, how fast can you run?" Cinnamon's jaw drops. He splutters. Cinnamon "Ya can't be serious." Midnight "Ughh, what happened?" Gears "You got knocked out. Also, we have a bit over 3 minutes to live. Are you capable of lifting that unicorn?" Unicorn "I have a na-hey!" Midnight struggles to lift the pony. Midnight "Just barely." Gears "Okay, here's the plan. Stormblitz, if you can make a cloud for us, then between the three of us we can get these two out." He gestures to [Tekkie] and the unicorn. "Cinnamon, I'll need you to stay here. When Midnight and I come back, we'll cover you while you run for the hedge." Cinnamon "You are actually serious." Gears "Absolutely. I'll carry you," He points to [Tekkie]. "and help you" He points to Midnight. "carry you." He points to the unicorn. "We have three minutes so lets get moving." ((We should all exchange names and stories once we get out. XD))
((You guys seem to be handling yourselves rather well, time for that to change >)) Outside Fluttershy's Cottage-Rashall (Moondancer) Moondancer's expression changed from nervous anticipation to shock and horror as the scene provided by the robots unravelled before her eyes. Celestia had ventured to the fallen castle of the royal sister's the place where the physical manifestations of the elements of harmony had been said to reside. After the six had defeated Nightmaremoon it had fallen even further into disrepair, until it was simply a crumbling wreck of stone upon the ground. Celestia's horn began to glow, and for a good minute the scene become nothing but a white blur. Once the blur dissapated a massive archway took up almost all the projection, seemingly having sprung up from the middle of nowhere. Before Moondancer could wonder what the archway could mean, a cruel hook appeared out of the archway, followed by a grotesque body (That's right, it's one of the creature's Thanapony and Saphyre Dream fought way back near the start of this). Once the beast was free from the invisible restraints of the archway, three more followed in behind it. The creature's continued to pour out behind it, immediately wondering around confused, before seeing Celestia and making some strange gesture to her which would probably have been a kneel, had not the creature's seemed so warped and twisted. -Visual Capacity Reached- Moondancer stood for a while in shock, before staring back to Celestia as she flew back to her palace. All she could do report to Luna and hope for the safety of those sent to the castle. Celestia's Palace-Gear's, Tekkie, StormBlitz "5 Minutes left..." The voice echoed around them, despite the clear day outside and the brightly light corridors, there was still no way to trace the voice to it's owner. "You do seem to be making quite remarkable process though, hmm? It seem's it would be best to put a stop to that. Here's an interesting fact about this castle, it was built with ease of access in mind, meaning there are absolutely tons of secret passage's and the like around this place. Such as the one right underneath you." The ground opens up underneath the group, revealing an icy tunnel that you soon find yourselves caught sliding around in. Gear's manages to prevent himself sliding into the trap by spreading his wings just as it opened. "Oh no you don't" Flaming arrows shot out from the walls and ceiling, preventing Gear's from moving anywhere save falling into the trap with the others. After a few minutes of sliding around and losing all sense of direction, the group find themselves in a dark room, a number of barrels are stacked around the area, though you can only make this out by the fact that you hit yourself on them upon entering. "I congratulate you having come so close to freedom, but I'm afraid this is where it is going to end. Right now you are in my cellar, if you can find your way to the next floor, you will be faced with three doors, one of them will grant you freedom, the other two will lead to your untimely death. You will find that these doors each differ greatly in appearances. Therefore, as i am not an unfair colt, I shall give you this riddle." "Though here on this floor, just dust and decay. To reveal your path, make it shine like day. Upon the next floor, there are doors three not four. One for freedom, two will make you no more. To pass the test, you must find the core. Of a heart that has never been touched before." "Two minutes remaining. Good luck." (I am enjoying this Solace guy way too much)
((Aww...)) The unicorn lights its horn. ((I made Cinnamon, so I'm letting someone else to make the last NPC.)) Gears I knew it wouldn't be that easy... He scrapes a hoof through the deep dust and grime on the floor. "I guess the first two lines mean there's some kind of trapdoor or marking that will get us out. 'Got no idea what the last two mean though."

XD)) Tekkie merely blinked one minute he was standing up listening to Gears' plan, the next he had fallen over, or fallen down or something it happened a little fast for him. Tekkie groaned after the riddle had been said "Maybe we need to find a battery or somethin'?" he muttered while getting up, then down at the floor, muttering to himself as he started taping random parts of the floor "lots of secret passages, secret passages need mechanisms, mechanisms need triggers.." Tekkie muttered, still tapping random parts of the floor "hey, could you guys let me know if y'find a button or a moveable stone or something alo-" Tekkie slipped over as the stone-like-tile he pressed against slid across the room causing it to light up a little bit, not exactly what he expected.
((dam now i have to think about what to write and dont have enough time soooooooo.... give me a an hour or so after this to edit in what i plan to do, it will probably constantly worked on)) ((i'll give the unicorn a name and stuff when i write my post)) The world was spinning and i was in agonizing pain as i had landed my broken wing, when i managed to open my easy finally i could barely see. I could see Tekkie examining a small glowing stone which was generating all the light in the room. I manage to find my feet and walk gingerly toward tekkie and ask, "what is it?" Tekkie looked back at me blankly and not knowing what to do i look around again and relise that a unicorn is what is generating the rest of the light in the room. "Nice light you got there" I said, "Thanks" replied unicorn' "my name is candle by the way". "Well nice to meet you Candle, you got any idea what to do because i am clueless, and could you do something to make my wing less in pain please", I asked. "well i dont have much idea either on what to do maybe you should ask gears or something he's smart but i can make your wing feel better but you wont be able to fly still." " Just being released from some of the pain will be grateful", i replied. Candle lowered her head and the light she was emiting increased and my wing began to straiten back to normal and the pain was being eased away. "There that should stop the pain for now and you it is shaped normally so it can begin to heal but dont try to fl yet." I flex my wing and i could feel some pain begin to seep in so i quickly stopped,"Thanks candle now lets go see if Gears know what to do." ((trying to write in lesson is annoying XD))
