I can see why that'd be annoying; while dogs are cute and all, I can't imagine how annoying it must be if people keep bugging your dog "because I really love animals!" I love animals (especially dogs) and all, but I know better than to distract them when they have a job to do. If you don't mind my asking (just ignore me if you do), why do you use a support dog?
My dog is a service dog is a Pulmonary Alert Dog (the only one I've ever heard of in fact) and he can tell when I'm going to have breathing problems before I even show symptoms. He also helps with support because of my chronic pain. Even though he just turned 2yrs, he's quite serious on the job. While my past dogs tolerated people bothering them, my new service dog does not like it one bit and will often snub people but turning his back to them or making a show or not looking at them. He's not very subtle LOL I'm an animal lover too but I've learned to respect each animal and was taught how to behave around dogs. The people around here don't seem to have any self control though. Luckily for me I'm friends with the local police so they've always got my back when the crazies attack.
Oh my god yes! I had an art teacher that did that ALL the time, he was an awesome person though, so I didn't mind too much.
My grandparents do it all the time. I start and 5 seconds later there they are. That's why I don't draw in public. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Actually, what gets me even more than people watching over my shoulder, are the one's that then ask me what I'm drawing. I don't know why, but I hate explaining to people what I'm drawing, besides, most of the time even I don't know what I'm drawing.
I know what I'm drawing, but when they look at it is a mess of lines. That's the part I hate, when people watch me making something. It's only with drawing though. When I made music it wasn't an issue. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
I do hate on them only cause most people make them overpowered and no fun. I have one. Only reason she I made her is because for my fan fic I needed something stronger then celestia and a challenge for unleashed unicorns. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Well, if it's any consolation, I don't RP. I just half-heartedly made a flimsy persona. :derpe: I've been thinking about removing the wings anyway. Not a ton of use for a singing pony, unless he does a show in Cloudsdale or something.
I don't RP either but overpowered OCs ruin all the fun. And alicorns are basiclly gods among normal ponies. Yep, just saying. I don't care if people have them, but they can be perfect in every way. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
There's a generalized stigma for them. I have an entire set of ideas were I to create an alicorn OC that reflects the idea of impartiality. I'd just choose unicorn otherwise. ;P With the upcoming new princess, we'll just have to see where the alicorn stuff goes. (Lauren Faust said Princess Cadence was not originally an alicorn.)
