Hey I was thinking of working with the Civil Air Patrol as a volunteer Cadet possibly ground patrol since I'll be new. Anypony have any experience with them? Could I do it for a summer? Is it everyday? I want to get a job as well so it would have to be on selected days so I could go work somewhere. Also Piloting is second to Engineering Locomotives for me. And it is possible I'll be allowed to fly since 1-civilian pilots can be color blind and 2-you don't need a civilian pilot if your just going out for a test flight so to speak! So if any pony here has been involved with the CAP please tell me what it's like! -banjomane
Eh, no. It isn't. Anyway, Banjo, hope you do join and have fun (if you choose it of course), I wanted to do a similar thing over in the UK but we lack that sort of stuff. Ah well. Looks like I'll wait a few years before joining the real Air Force. :3
