Hey everybody, I bring bad and good tidings, depending on which side of the fence you sit. You'll have noticed the website "network" theme has both changed and now been forced upon you. First off, why the old theme removal? Vbulletin styles work on a 'parent' system and inherit style variants from one another. The way the old styles were set up meant editing each one individually (they weren't parented and much too different to one another). As you can imagine this has proven a royal pain to keep things working and up to date on all styles. A while ago I announced the depreciation and imminent removal of the "old" styles and here it is. In the not-to-distant future we'll be making children of the network style to replace the themes lost, we just need them to be edited together rather than separately and retain a somewhat similar structure. I promise it's for the best and will allow us to implement new features and fix bugs a lot faster! This Navigation .. Bar? This is not yet active on the radio page* Located at the top of the screen with "sections" of the site to the left, social networked sites to the right. The aim is to provide more user friendly navigation around our "network" - That's pretty much all there is to it. Those who tested it before public release seemed to like it, I hope you all do too! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to post them below and I'll answer as best as I can! ~ Grey Knightmare
I'll miss the Cloudsdale theme but I understand the reasoning's for the removal of the other themes. I do really like this new on though. The navigation bar works nicely and is very user friendly.
Great! Do let us know which themes you miss, TRUST me. We don't want to take them from you, if we know what you guys liked/used - We'll be sure to try and replicate them under the new style in the coming months! Glad you all like it so far! Just got it configured for the radio page, - as for the fictions button it's hidden until the new fictions section is open to the general public!
Ooh, I liek! T'will be useful having that nav bar... ... Shame we had to say goodbye to the Ponyville theme though...
I mentioned it on another thread but I suppose that it should be said here. Great work guys. It looks awesome.
