It's official. He's an emotional vampire. Everypony, don't respond to him, he's just like my Ex-Girlfriend. No matter what you say, he can't be helped. He's going to defecate all over your attempts, and simply act incurable. He's gonna be depressed no matter what, and will leave you depressed if you pay attention to him. Don't bother giving him any more advice, because he won't take it.
You seem to have not spent enough time on the shadowy parts of the internet. If he was really a troll, I would have seen it by now, or at least began to play along. In this case, I just have to say I like helping people, although I can hardly be said to be altruistic. In fact, that harder they are to help, the more time it takes, and therefore, the more fun there is to be had, and the better they will be after. Besides, My spirit is uncrushable now. *man pants* EDIT: The personality I'm told I have is far from what it truly is. And I know for a fact I see only a small facet of you, or anyone else I know. We can all suddenly turn, and be completely different. Controlling that is far from my skill yet, but I am sure it is possible. In any case, try to think about what it it you truly value, truly need. And really think about it. Not just the self-pity typical of this situation.
Actually, I think that's a record for the fastest time someone has said, "Ignore him." The only reason I'm hopeless is because you tell me I am. Emotional vampire, that's a new one. So creative! I'm not being sarcastic, that is actually a good way to describe trolls.
Except only one of us has said it. Besides, why do you believe it when people say that? What reason do you have for that? It's a fine thing to say to people in a debate, but only if you can prove it.
Y'know, I used to believe that. I'm not saying he's a troll, I'm saying he's an emotional vamp. If you care too much about what happens to him, he'll drain all your happiness out of you, and leave you feeling empty inside. And when he asks for your help, or if you try to give him something that will make him happy, he'll find flaw with it, and give you a depressing speech about why he's not gonna do it. I know, I've been down this road before. He's just another breed of attention *squee!*. The best thing to do is ignore him.

One can never spend enough time in reality. One can only spend enough time around different types of people, so you can understand how they think. I've done just that for many depressed people, for some bipolar people, even for some of the stranger people I know. After that, really, all that matters is perseverance. The only problem is, he's not asking for help, he's asking for attention. Even if you do "help" him, he's gonna go to a completely different forum, and post the same thing there. He's not worth your time. Save yourself while you still can.
If he is truly asking for help, then I help him, he gets better, it's a win. If he's attention whoring, I am amused by his feeble attempts to do so, it's a win. If he's trying to troll, I out-troll him, it's a win. I fail to see a problem.
so you've done this before? honestly, where is the enjoyment in this? what gain is there in pretending to be someone who wants to kill themselves? there are people whos lives are actually ****ed up beyond belief, who actually have to deal with pain. youre a little 12 year old PoS who thinks its funny to make people concerned for you. there are so many other things you could joke about. MLP is all about love and tolerance. so whether you're just an attention whoring kid who likes to have people fawn over him, or a kid who thinks trolling is the funniest thing ever, you dont belong in this forum, or in this community.
