I was wondering how many people have imaginary friends.

Lately I have had a lot of stress so what I did was imagine in my head that the mane six were there supporting me and it actually did help!

I managed through all the stress of each week by simply having a conversation in my head with Twilight or anypony for that matter. Does anypony else do this? I know that I can't be the only one...

I've never had imaginary friends. I'm more prone to simply imagining scenarios instead. From what ifs and dwelling in the past to reactions and how a single word difference can affect them.

Imagination is something that I lack a lot of.
All real friends I've had have been crap, except the bronies of course.

I've had one imaginary friend, and the idea came to me in middle school when a couple of friends were saying which animals they are and they labeled me as a panda bear. So, from that day, I've imagined myself an imaginary panda bear walking with me for a year or 2 since, then I stopped, but on occasion at nightfall when I'm bored, I re-imagine him, and then fall asleep

While I don't have imaginary friends, every so often I'll start daydreaming of talking to one of the Mane Six.

I had one but it was silly of me now then it was then, since i was a young little kid. 12 years ago, I Watch so much Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy back in the day and still do from time to time and when i saw johnny with Plank. I had an idea to make my own Plank friend and had fun with it for a while and gave up the idea. I can't believe I slept with D*squee*n thing, once and only once. But after that, No. But i do listen to my Figures of the 6 ponies and interact with them for fun...if that counts.

Sometimes I imagine this black and white creature on my shoulder that has the ability to shift shapes between an owl, a raven and a pony-ish creature. I call it 'Spick'. :p

Furthermore, I go to Equestria every night. Yay!

Sure it wasn't the episode where Ed invented jim?

I don't make imaginary friends, rather I hop in the shower and have arguements in my head and you know what? I win all of them, I'm the intellect master when I'm arguing against myself.

I'm kind of like Aynine. I've never had imaginary friends but instead I have a constant flow of imaginary scenarios, times and worlds/places. Most of the time it's some sort of magical forest or other picturesque landscape where the elements of the place symbolise various emotions, events, people etc.

I don't have an imaginary friend, although imagination is something I have a large quantity of.
I play around a bit with my thoughts, which does spawn characters, but I don't converse with them or treat them like they're real, although that is something I did as a small child.
Interesting subject, really. Never given it much thought until now, thanks.

I like to stick in the real world, absorbing myself into premade imaginary things.

Have you ever seen a guy called PewDiePie on Youtube? He talks to a little golden statue whilst playing Amnesia to calm his nerves.

I kind of do that. I have one of those "horse heads on a stick things" (possibly known as a hobby horse but whatever) that I pretend is alive sometimes. It's hilarious because I just go round the house poking it in people's faces and putting on a weird accent.

Sometimes i pretend i'm talking to Rainbow Dash.

Then i realize i'm talking to myself.

    Then i cry a little.

    Then i realize i don't care anymore.

    Then we keep talking.

Sometimes i pretend i am walking around Ponyville as the only Human in Equestria.

And sometimes when i listen to epic music i pretend i'm beating the crap outta an army by using physic powers.

I don't have any real friends. That is why i talk to the imaginary Rainbow Dash in my head.

Speaking of which. She would like to say something.

Hey Bronies this is Rainbow Dash here from this dudes house and as you know I am the best pony!
I am so super awesome and stuff,And i would like to ask a few questions.

    First.How did i get here?

Second.Who is your favorite pony?(Like i dont already know...)

third. How am i typing this with hooves?

Well i'm gonna hand the keyboard back to this dude here see ya later!

Yeah.. i don't know why i do that.

Ahhh.... Pewdie. I love him. BARRELS! Amnesia, fantastic game, very scary. And I can confirm that talking to inanimate objects is quite helpful. :derpe:

I used to have a lot of Star Wars and G.I. Joe stuff and imagined they had conversations with each other about me and stuff they might be interested in. But mostly I talked to my self in my mind most of the time.

I talk to myself a lot so I don't really create imaginary friends but I guess you could say I make imaginary personalities :dunno:

Well, kind of. The reason I talk to myself a lot is mainly to think deeply about things, it engages the mind more and stuff and also I don't hang out with people very much so obviously I need to expend energy on something. The girl who I want to have as a girl friend said she created an imaginary friend to help her feel better about having a room to herself. While she might have been joking, it's not like that's something negative. Eccentric maybe, but it's for peace of mind and something to also consider things from a different aspect. I did make imaginary friend when I was more little and then moved to talking to myself.

You're not alone. I talk to myself too but its in my head, talking to my subconcious or my other self.
