Weird day at school today. A fight that was anticipated for a while kicked off, involving custard being poured on someone's head followed by a fist fight. This obviously gathered a massive crowd, and a load of people started tipping chairs, tables, essentially almost a riot. A second fight then erupted on the opposite side of the campus. The lecturers held, basically an emergency summit, and agreed that prom would be cancelled for such poor behaviour. It's clearly a massive bluff, too much money has gone into it. Still, I wish there weren't so many total ****s tarnishing the reputation for my age group.
I remember we actually did have a riot at my high school while I was going there. A girl was trying to get her boyfriend on campus after he was expelled. The officer on campus told him to stay off the property. The race card was played by the kids and they started a riot through the entire school. They put up a fence around the school because of it. That sucked big time. But - true story time - I was home sick the day of the riot and got to watch it on TV. Yes, I did make popcorn.
He he, I missed all the riots in the UK in summer because I was on holiday in Blackpool that week :derpe: Yeah, I think there's 1 confirmed expulsion, 3 possible expulsions, and possibly the involvement of the police. The school was literally on lockdown for the rest of the day, no talking, listening to Youtube vids whilst working etc. And all just before the exams as well. What a waste.
From what I saw of mine on TV, there were police, fire trucks, SWAT team, everything came out for it. I heard later from my friends that in the class I would have been in that the teacher just locked her door and kept on teaching. Kept on even after some of the rioters threw a trash can into the windows of the room and broke them. They were too high and small for someone to fit through fortunately.
You know who cause riots? Idiots. Stupid, unintelligent, foolish, ridiculous, idiotic, nonsensical, terrible idiots.
I was in London for the first couple of days of riots, but a then set off on a road trip with my parents through France. Pretty good timing, we managed to miss this: There wasn't much really going on in my area, but a lot of shops still closed early and some even put up plywood, just in case. Crazy stuff. Speaking of London, guess who was in the winning team from the pub quiz at the meetup? This guy. Edit: HOW DID I MISS THIS. IT WAS POSTED A WEEK AGO. Oh my god. So much awesome.

I live in a small town where no riots ever happen. I find rioting pointless. Some teenagers are douches.
The last "riot" that I remember happening in my town was an equality issue at my high school. One of the more flamboyant guys got in trouble for wearing a skirt and heels. So the LGBT community picketed at the school. I skipped class to be out there with them. Thaaaat's about it. There was an Occupy movement in Portland though (Portland, Oregon is about 45 miles south of me). In other news, I have the best mommy. She randomly bought me one of those dinosaur sandwich cutters. The ones that cut the crusts off and slice the sandwich in half. So I'm eating roast beef dinosaurs for lunch ^_^ Rawr x3
Yes, good luck Cloudy! We'll be hoping things go smoothly that and you have many happy dreams of ponies while you are in surgery.
Aww, thank you guys! ^_^ Thank you for remembering too lol. My middle sister forgot I was having surgery. I'm sure it'll go amazingly. My surgeon is awesome and hilarious and nerdy, so I trust him to cut me open and fiddle around with my innards. I'll have my phone with me, so I may be able to post here once I'm awake. If not, I'll be on Sunday at the earliest. I think they're only keeping me one night. But they weren't sure if they were gonna do Laparoscopic or open surgery, so I'll be there anywhere from 1 to 4 nights, depending on how things go. It makes me so happy that you guys are keeping me in your thoughts ^_^ <3 I love you guys.
Good luck Cloudy. I know nothing will go wrong so have fun... or whatever you do when you have an operation.
Well good luck out there! I've been in surgery before but that was when I was 3 years old so I don't quite remember it. I hope everything goes ok!
I've never had to have surgery, so I have no idea what it's like, but I'm sure everything will go fine! Good luck, we'll all be waiting for your return!
