Hmmm... I think it was something in the terms of "OH GOD PLEASE KILL ME I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS." But I did it anyway becuse I wanted to show I was man enough.
It took until toward the end of EP1 to hook me. This is simply due to the fact that the first half is "Hi, I'm [enter name here]." Just introduction and not much else. But toward the end of EP1 I had been more interested in continuing. EP2 sealed it for me.
When I first saw it, I was like "Looks stupid." then when I saw the episode Feeling Pinkie Keen came out, I was like "OMGILOVETHISSHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
When I watched My first episode of Party of One. My reaction was that I thought the characters where well defind and fun but the story was very predictable and girly. When I later watched episode 1 though my reaction was that it was better and I'd wished I'd seen it first and that Fluttershy was really really cute
The first scene I saw was Fluttershy singing Pinkie's song with a really deep voice. I immediate thought Fluttershy was too adorable and was curious as to why she had such a deep voice. I didn't know it was MLP yet and thought it was just some guys custom animation. If it weren't for Fluttershy, I can't say I would have kept watching. Fluttershy's adorable expression that instantly stole my heart: She's much cuter than what she shows here, but still that was the first d'awwww I had. The next video I saw was her trying to trap animals and screaming at them. Things just kept going from there. The first full episode I watched was Bridle Gossip. I liked all the characters and was interested in seeing more.
I actually watched like the first couple minutes of episode 1 when it aired, channel surfing you know - I hit up the cartoon ones when I'm bored - the prologue and title opening was "meh" and I didn't give it another look until well into season 2. I'm the kinda guy that will go back and watch a show from the first one, I can't just jump in in the middle. So when Rainbow Dash was trying to find a pet I was like hmm maybe I'll give this another try, so i force myself past the beginning part of the first one and when Twilight is going around checking things out in Ponyville I gotta admit I was all "this isnt the usual MLP drek (I was thinking about G1 ponies of course) And when they fired the Orbital Friendship Cannon at Nightmare Moon and turned her back into Luna... Eyes Misted + Mind Blown = Brony 4 Ever.
The very first time I watched like, two and a half minutes of the first episode, and I was like "daf fuq is this *squee!*?" (my friend turned me on to it). Then he made me watch it a month later (through gmail chat both times, what a workhorse, no pun intended) I ended up watching all of the pony videos on BeanyOne's playlist. I was like, "THIS IS MANLY"
My reaction to the first episode was, "Not bad, could be better." I started to enjoy the show more when I watched the fourth episode, and then I became a brony after I watched the sixth episode.
First reaction? Had my first spit take watching the first ep, then a week after I watched the first I watched the second, then the third, and so on and so forth
The first episode I watched, I was kinda surprised. I thought "Well.... Its okay...." So I decided that I'd give some more episodes a go. After an hour, I'd watched another three. I wasn't yet brony, I don't think, because although I liked it, I didn't love it. Enjoyed it though. I think I became a brony a week later, around griffon the brush off or Boast busters. A few weeks after I watched every single dang episode, I found and joined the site. Wow, that was half a year ago... :ahh:
I'd never even heard of bronies before I became one. I ended up watching a PMV that I thought was just one of those things on the weird side of Youtube. The PMV was good and I liked the animation, so I checked the description for the show and I was like, "Oh come on, no way, My Little Pony? Since when was it called Friendship is Magic?" So I looked it up on Google, Youtube etc and watched the first episode. I just got addicted. I thought there was no way I was going to live it down. But it was such a good show since Episode 4! I loved it! Dude I just had the same thought :ahh:
