[HR][/HR] All Fun and Play - Makes Everypony Pay. Forgive me the title but on a much darker note it's come to my attention that a lot of incidents of varying natures have been cropping up over the past week or so, swearing, cursing, flaming, disrespecting of staff and general unpleasantness - It's mostly on the Livestream Radio chat, although cross-over is often unavoidable. In retaliation we have as you can see above, increased moderator presence around the forums and will be enforcing a new, revised and improved set of the rules (which I'll put into action early this coming week) - You'll see a notice about them as and when. The new rules will also cover the radio chat - Which some particular cheeky bronies pointed out the forum rules didn't specify doing and take note of this, there will be no more leniency - 2, maybe 3 warnings and that's it, 24hour ban minimum. Again punishment guidelines are being revised and redistributed through the moderation team, we will not tolerate this behaviour. Don't like it? Get your sorry flank up, off and outta here. To all those who do abide by the rules and respect the staff, I apologise and would like to thank you for your efforts - They do not go unnoticed. The new rules might seem a little harsh or restrictive but trust me when I say, we're being driven to this for and doing it for no other reason than the preservation of our community's tame and gentle reputation. [HR][/HR] New [Beta] ~ Radio Player Some of you may have noticed the changed player over at the radio, Ripp_ has kindly taken it upon himself to implement a much demanded for feature - the showing of track/artist names on the player and so far he's done a wonderful job and believe he has a few more surprises in store for us - As for the rumours about logging IP's and or/what other nonsense has been chucked around, it does not. It's exactly the same bar some external API referencing javascript grabbing information from the player and refreshing your page appropriately. Things to note about the new player; ~ It shows the track/artist name (due to database organisation sometimes this may only be the track name - Although we're trying to change all the tracks at a reasonable rate to rectify this problem) ~ It seems to have stopped showing ads for some people - Others claim they now get ads when they didn't before - There seems to be absolutely no pattern, some have adblocker some don't some have FF some have Chrome. Honestly we can't make heads or tails of it but if anyone can survey anyone and come to some reasonable conclusion - Me or Ripp_ would love to (and be grateful to) hear it! ~ The volume is now controlled via two buttons instead of a slide/Sorry - Ripp_, might be able to implement a sliding control back in but we can't promise anything - and it's definitely not a high priority at the present time. ~ You can find the pause/fullscreen options by hovering your mouse over the stream. ~ The popup player does not take on the new form/show the track names/artists. ~ On MY android I find I can now watch the new stream like any other youtube video - I don't need to trick livestream with a user agent swap, just fire up a browser/Like Dolphin and get watching - No one else has confirmed this yet. - Of course iPhones definitely still won't work due to Apple's hate on Flash (poor guy) - Sorry about that. [HR][/HR]New Affiliation One of our more loyal and active members, SetzerTrancer has recently booted up a lovely blog (www.thebronyblog.com) - It's not like your typical blogger based pony sites, it really is just what it says on the tin... A blog. Which in my opinion is rather nice, he just talks about the fandom in general - What's on his mind and the like and reviews several games, fan fictions and PMV's (not to mention making and featuring his own!). At any rate, he shouted us out on the bronyshow and we couldn't ask him to be more loyal member so I'll be adding his most awesome (and revised) blog to our affiliations section - be sure to check it out (and perhaps favourite it? ^^) - I'm sure he'd appreciate the gesture [HR][/HR] Forum Tinkering Not really much to say here, just a heads up to say I'm going to be changing a few settings here and there to help keep the forum organised and running smoothly - I'll be limiting signature size for one, some of them are a tad big at the moment, sorry about that but it has to be done. I also need to look into tables and reputation - A few other nondescript things, any huge changes and I'll let you know - Just don't be alarmed. On a more serious note, when I read that part about making everypony pay, for some reason my mind immediately jumped to money— like seeking donations or something. I'd like to think I'm well-behaved (heh heh), but I know I'll be keeping an eye out for the new rules. I noticed that change to the EPR player as well. I think that's a great idea. Now we don't have to ask "what song is this?" anymore. Good job, Ripp_! Also, I'd like to wish Setzertrancer the best of luck and success with The Brony Blog.

I saw how Equestria Gaming does it and they have a bar with icons to different websites in it. where abouts is my website display I couldn't see it on the homepage. Um anyway. No, haha. I'll be publishing our aims and policies along with the new rules - later this week (hopefully) and trust me, we try a lot harder than we should to remain 100% non-profit. We DO NOT accept donations, we do not use adverts and even our idea of a merchandise store would result in not a penny to our coffers. We want to provide all of you with the best we can, for the cheapest we can (uh.. free ). ~ And yes it's fantastic that you look forward to these posts - Makes me want to get on working on more stuff for #3!! ~ yay!

Grey, a merchandise store is not yet to be expected. And you know what, grey? we need a mascot for our website, just like Deviantart has one. One that would be a famous figure around, and basically would be in any of our Announcements around somewhere. It's not hard to make, we just need a good design, and I know just the man (woman, actually) for that.
The mascot needs to be a pony... I do beleive. Maybe a guy pony, with a B on his chest for brony? Lol. But I love the mascot idea.
