    Though I do not have very much experience with friends myself (I read too much), I know that a friend can stick with you regardless of who you are, though there are some who will not agree with you as easily. I say count your blessings and not your friends. Though there is bound to be a bit of rough water, friends are good at getting over it. It's not like you became an entirely different person now that an aspect of your personality has been uncovered.

    I have Avoidant Personality Disorder, 100% introversion, with possible sociophobia.
    I normally don't like talking to people face to face, but there are those close to me, who I'd rather talk to in person.
    I am awkward socially, and fail in conversations, but there is just something I like about talking to people I love face to face ;3
