    I don't see the point in DST either. It's just too much effort. I used to try to get all my clocks perfectly synced but Daylight Savings Time completely threw everything out of sync. I gave up after that.

    From what I understand, it's to give farmers an extra hour of daylight to farm. Why they don't just keep it like that instead of changing it twice a year, I don't know.

    Originally it was to preserve candle wax used at nighttime, but clearly that's not a problem for most people anymore.

    That makes sense but why can't the farmers get up an hour earlier instead of getting everyone get up? The candlewax isn't a problem anymore either. I guess change is hard, even though I'd gladly accept forgetting about DST.

    My sister on the other hand can't stomach anything that hasn't been swept along the floor or been painted with grease, whilst I had the oppertunity to go to the nice Indian RIGHT next to me she "had" to have dominoes.
