Hmm, I don't really like Spike very much, but this sounds like it's going to be quite a heartfelt tale for some reason. Maybe some more hints towards the relationship between Spike and Rarity?

I Vouch for Ponyville being Helgen and having it brutaly destroyed. Who knows, story could start with the traveler(Oc Pony) coming from a far away land and he shows up in ponyville just to have it attacked. I don't know, It could happen. -///- (A Brony can dream cant he?)

Maybe Spike will evolve into Super-Sexy-Badass-Dragon-With-Wings. I've found an evolution line that he might follow: If we go by this, then his next stage is a fat blob with eyes and legs.
