THat is awesome! I was never a fan of laptops because of small screens and keyboards but tablets are pretty cool!
You have a better tablet than me, pixel XD. I think a small Intuos4 is now less than $200 because they just released intuos5. I prefer drawing on paper (maybe because my tablet is so ghetto and is the size of my raccoon hands), though I think some of my friends even with intuos4 like paper better though having a tablet is really handy if you plan on doing commissions/drawing digitally alot. If I didn't have to use my money for college tuition, I think I'd upgrade, but instead I'll wait until the price lowers/tech advances.
Maybe poor choice of words when i said "I want to abandon the almighty pencil." I'm not really gonna stop using the pencil to draw but draw on papaer or something and post it on the tablet for me to draw over, or something. I plan on Getting my Tablet around by late May or Early June. You might or not seen this on my Art thread but Yeah, this Bad boy is costing two grand to obtain. I need to make 1,400 in the next 2 1/2 or 3 months. I think i can hit the deadline till then. Birthday is coming up, so that helps out as well and my tax refund is due soon, so that helps as well. Every dollar counts from this point. Only got 600 saved up and still shooting my goal. If i'm gonna be Great Cartoon Artist/Animator, then i'm gonna need the top notch equipment. I do whatever it takes to get that career job...Even if I have to bust my flank for it.

I was thinking about saving up for the 21" Cintiq myself but quickly realised I had too many other things I had to spend money on and would end up waiting forever to get one. So I went in the opposite direction and bought myself the cheapest one I could find, something's better than nothing after all. This model is the Cintiq 21ux. This is what most artist in Studios use, I could stare at it all day and can't wait to animate with this thing. Feel Free to visit my thread as well. I can always use support.

time to dump a bunch of drawings. The first to are trash to me Spoiler: TRASH Now it's OC time. First Hearts Delight The second is her brother Nimble Force. Better version of the trashed one above If you want to know what the new OCs are being used for, here is the journal from my DA explaining some of it. Spoiler: journal I will be turning all of my attention to this "new project" It's basically a bunch of ideas that were floating around being mashed into one with a new OC I never had a place for. Her name is Hearts Delight. I don't care if the name is over used or if it sounds dumb, her name came about just like Platinums. The story will follow her life. That's all I'm going to say right now. I'm not sure if I'm going to put it on DA or not. I already have a tumblr made for it. It might also be on the Everypony forum. It's gonna be one of those diary type stories with pictures. It gives me a chance to practice writing and will hopefully force me to take my time with the pictures. I will try to update it weekly or at the latest bi-weekly. I have no clue how long it will last. Random information about project thingy. She has a brother going by the name of Nimble Force( for now, might be changed) Parents names are Scepter(father) Mother( Golden crest) I'm going to attempt to tie it into some episodes like winter wrap up or make mentions of the events of episodes. The mane 6 might play a small part in the story. I don't want them to take it over though. If I can find a reason I may let other OCs show up for a small part, that is if people will lend them to me.( I dunno) So that's it. To be honest pixel, I'd say that's one of the best artworks you've ever done in my opinion. It looks almost completely realistic as if it was actually 3D. The shading works well, and the colour blending's perfect; why you put yourself down?! Plus it's better than anything I could ever do :derpe:
Wait! you have a me folder? I knew doing the ear like that was a mistake, but I'm lazy. I'll never fix it. Mane is to spiky. i wasn't putting myself down, not in a serious way at least. I was poking fun at my own art because well... because I can.

Thank you. I'm glad it caused feelings, hopefully good ones. I will not get on drawfriends, I've seen some of that stuff. I can't compete. The mane was practice, this one was way to spiky. This pixture was supposed to be vinyl, but I changed my mind (duh). Since it seems to be overall liked. I might do the vinyl version. Also that spelling mistake made a cool new word pixtures.
